nuraig:If what is stated on your CAS is Bachelors degree RESULT then your are good to go but if it's Bachelors degree CERTIFICATE then you'll need a miracle. Any document reflected on the CAS must be submitted as described. Otherwise, let your school issue another CAS listing the documents exactly as you have them. |
Bourne007:Exactly 29days. But I added my tax clearance certificate from 2012 to 2014 and my current employment contract as evidence that I have been earning money genuinely for 4 years, to clear any doubts on the mind of the ECO that the money flew into the account from nowhere (don't know if all this was necessary, just had to be on the safe side). I also did some little deposits and withdrawals to form activity for the last few days. In all, not all cases are same. Just convince the ECO that you are a genuine student, that you know what you are going to the UK for, that it will take you closer to your lawful ambitions and that you have money that is legitimately available and enough for your upkeep as prescribed. Clear his/her doubt by the answers you give at the interview and by the documents you submit. Thanks. |
blank:Return ticket ain't cheaper o, the difference reach 100k sef |
Achonky:I reapplied on 7th March and got my visa on the 15th March. Thanks Justwise and Co for your support |
Hello Justwise and team. I have a challenge booking one-way flight to the UK. Wakanow is advising me to buy a return ticket since my passport only reflects the 1 month entry clearance given(the BRP reflecting the 18 months visa will usually be picked up on arrival in the UK). They said that airlines may not allow me to board if my travel document does not reflect that I have up to a year to stay in my destination country. Kindly share your thoughts and experiences please. Thanks I plan to use Ethiopian Airline. |
mobii:Visit the VAC where you did your interview and request for an update. |
justwise:Was supposed to be 1st march but with my visa refusal, my school is offering to move my start date then issue another CAS. Am doing research and could start anytime my supervisor approves, maybe in April. |
Hello guys/Justwise, my visa was refused on 25th January because I used my uncle's account without any court document as proof that he is my legal guardian(I don't have any certificate of adoption). I have gotten the required maintenance funds into my personal account and the 28 days of holding matures by 4th of march after which I intend to reapply. But I have 2 concerns; 1. It's my salary account and the only activity within this 28days period is the payment of my February salary into the account. I had 1.5m before now and I got 1.2m into the account to meet up the required balance. This was done within 2 days before I started counting my 28 days. How many days ADVISABLY should my statement reflect, the 28days only? or more? (considering the sudden deposit of 1.2m which I think could attract probe) 2. While filling my online form, do I need to mention/give an explanation as to why I am no longer using my uncle or just wait to be asked at the interview. Am being so meticulous because I understand that chances of getting a visa after a refusal is slimmer as more probe is usually done for previously refused applicants. Kindly lend me your CANDID advice/opinion please. |

. Just curious, how many months statement of account did you submit after the 28 days matured?
