I respect my father only. The rest of you are monkeys. When the elders of China, Japan, and Indonesia were developing their countries, what where you doing?

Looting and stealing or drinking palm wine in the village. But now you want respect from the younger generation? Nothing is worse than an old African.

Exactly what at was going through my mind when I was reading the post. The governors in the south are all spineless and cowardly, little wonder there's no southern governors forum but we have nothern governors forum.

Nigeria is really a joke.
Southern Nigerians don't really have a culture or a civilization. It's like tribes of monkeys -- every man for himself with no organization or collective goal as a people.

You were born to be slaves basically.

u see how the northern governors speak up for their people, anytime they are killed or threatened. This is what the southern region lacks, including middle belt.

Nigeria army would raise down a whole village in the east but the foolish governors would remain silent. Fulani would destroy markets and kill people in middle belt but the governors would dare not talk. look at the recent killings by the Army at some villages in Benue state....u won't hear any strong resistance statement from Benue governor...

How about the killings in Aba, Cross River etc, the foolish governors can never speak up against the government or Fulani terrorist terrorising their people. What a shame.

Let's stop deceiving ourselves in this country. The country is dead and buried. This country can never be good again. Let's have our own countries...we can do better apart. The housa Fulani would have their own country and live in peace while the eastern, western and middle belt would have their countries and live in peace.
This is why I always say the Northerners are culturally superior to you. They actually have a civilization and code of conduct (as primitive as it is) while southerners are just 'educated' savages.

Is that not what he too is doing by participating in the cement scandal. With all the grave allegations raised in the memo by Dangote Sugar and Flourmill, if he the let will be calling the pot black, then he must think the rest of us are dimwits.

He bought over a federal government sugar factory, abandoned it and started importing cheap unrefined sugar from overseas to frustrate his competitors is economic sabotage and someday, all these your assets you are acquiring by sabotaging our national economy will be nationalised.

The FG should be bold to do what SEC did with Oando! Ser up a Judicial Panel and expert committee of investigators to investigate all of them in the Cement and Sugar scandal and anyone sabotaging the country should have his management sacked and interim management appointed to follow through on the implementation of the National Sugar Master Plan.

Honestly I don't know what EFCC is waiting for before moving in like it did with MTN. EFCC should investigate these serious economic crimes being allegedly committed by Rabiu in the Sugar and Dangote and others in the cement scandal. There is a criminal element of these serious allegations and SEC should protect investors who have bought the shares of BUA,Dangote Cement, Wapco Lafarge etc.

All of them must be investigated by SEC, CBN, EFCC and the customs and anyone or company indicted should face the music.
Enough of all these unpatriotic economic saboteurs by these people we expect to even be above board in terms of national affairs.
You are right, to be honest. All of these so-called businessmen are a curse on Nigeria. None of these people are really serious about producing sugar locally. They just want to loot.

Aliko Dangote is orchestrating an economic coup on Nigeria, and he must be stopped before it is too late. Recent remarks from Rabiu of BUA Group indicate that these sinister plot has extended into the sugar industry. Rabiu accuses Dangote of attempting to shut down his planned sugar refinery in Port Harcourt to keep sugar prices high and maintain his monopoly over the commodity. Rabiu states the following:

"In Nigeria and anywhere in the world that wherever Dangote is operating in any sector or business, he seeks to muscle out competition through any means necessary” and “this scenario is playing out again in this case"

It shows how daft you are or you have little knowledge about business... Did you even read the news at all since 2016 till date concerning the problem and upgrade he is actually facing concerning the shortage of gas to power his plants and so on... It shows you know next to nothing...
Dangote Cement Nigeria has the highest profit margins of any cement company on earth by a factor of 3x higher than the second most profitable. His cost of production doesn't even matter at that point. Stop arguing blindly.

His profit margin in Nigeria is 60% compared to less than 20% South Africa.

All cement plants have their own powerplants and that makes their cost of production cheaper, not more expensive. Maybe you aren't smart enough to understand this. I was so bling following what people are saying but I get to know that we Nigerians are the problem of this country because I don't know why we like to talk aboit anything in Nigeria in a bad way. People are just bad and I wonder what they will gain from spreading fake bad news
Forget Ghana. That's a corrupt monkey country just like Nigeria, and they don't even have limestone. Look at places like South Africa and India.

Here is 50kg cement from India selling for 320 rupees or 1600 naira. We know Dangote can produce cement at this price because his profit margin tells us he is selling at more than double his cost of production. The Indian cement companies earn EBITDA margins of 10% of their selling price, while Dangote earns 60% in Nigeria.

It is a problem for every Nigerian who wants the country to improve. No nation will never develop selling dement for 3,500 naira when it should be 1,500 naira. Every house, hospital, road and bridge costs double what it should cost. That is not a nation, it is a zoo.

Exactly my thinking.

If Dangote feels threatened by his activities, he (Dangote) wouldn't mind spending a billion dollars to bring Kanu down.

Kanu should learn to choose his enemy wisely.

Not like we don't know Dangote is Nigeria's biggest problem sha
That is not my line of thinking of all. I just don't think this should become an Igbo vs Dangote issue when it should be EVERYONE vs. Dangote. He is looting every Nigerian from every tribe.

You've obviously not understood the inner linings of the Nigerian system. The entire policy management and federal agencies are entirely rigged internally.

Fact check. All top positions of all federal agencies are all northerners that the oligarchs can summon to meet them in mosques, hold their evil meetings, plan and scheme. How do you break out. East or West when the federal manages everything in its firm grip?

How?
Let me just say, northerners rule you for a reason. Why? Because don't make flimsy helpless excuses, they simply do what needs to be done to maintain their power. That's why they will rule you for the next 100 years.

Ibeto is an Igbo man. You are not Igbo, yet you have seen how everyone from other parts of Nigeria has attacked you on this thread and in your other progressive threads, thinking you were Igbo.
Imagine if you were Igbo.

BUA can afford to speak freely against Dangote and get away with it, Ibeto cannot without being labelled a hateful Biafra driven by hate for a Northerner progress.

So before you go on to blame Ibeto for keeping quiet, you would first have to walk in his shoes as an Igbo man in an Igbophobic charged country like Nigeria.
His best bet is to maintain his peace and make his profits.

Nigeria is a country that hates the truth. Any one who speaks truth to Nigeria is assumed to be a hateful Igbo until proven otherwise.
Stop. A coward dies a thousand times, and the only way to defeat a bully is to fight back. Are you telling me that Ibeto can't even defend his interests in the South East, which is his homeland? I'm not buying it. Ibeto is a coward who lacks brainpower. Even his own employees say he would "rather beg than fight back. Who wouldn't destroy a pitiful man like that?

Are you saying if I have the money to invest in limestone and cement production, the FG won't give me the license to go into the production?
That seems to be the situation.

Here is Rabiu: https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2021/02/09/bua-advocates-liberalisation-of-cement-policy-to-crash-price/

The BUA chairman said there are many other companies that have the capacity and access to funding to be able to compete in the industry in Nigeria, adding that the entire country is sitting on limestone. Anywhere you go, there is limestone in Nigeria,” he emphasised and explained: “And the cost of production is probably the lowest in Africa.” Rabiu urged the federal government to open up the cement industry for more competition.

Here is David Iweta: https://www.thenigerianvoice.com/movie/54550/real-reasons-cement-price-is-high-iweta.html

But, ahead of this latest policy summersault, the same cabal had already gone around Ogun State, had gone round the whole of Cross Rivers State, gone to Obajana, and surveyed in their name anywhere there was limestone deposits that will last for over 250 years, thus depriving other people access to the basic raw material which is lime stone quarry.

What’s the cost of production in South Africa?
Do producers in SA build their own electricity plants, housing, roads, provide security, water, etc.?

What difference does it make what Apple and Ferrari’s profit margins are?
In that same US (and Italy) there are businesses that make 100-200% profit margins.

So why is BUA Cement MORE EXPENSIVE than Dangote Cement...
Actually remember BUA and others complaining that Dangote Cement is UNDERCUTTING the market.

Lafarge is the world’s BIGGEST AND MOST POWERFUL producer of cement...
It has been operating in Nigeria since the 1960s, but even Lafarge’s cement cost MORE (or the same).
>

1. All cement companies around the world operate their own powerplants because its cheaper. This is not a disadvantage, it saves them money because they get electricity at or below cost. Regardless, all of that is included is his cost of production -- which is what we substract from revenue to get his profit (60% of revenue in Nigeria).

2. There is no such thing as a profit margin above 100% in business reporting. Profit is calculated as a percentage of selling price (revenue). You are thinking like a petty trader who doesn't understand accounting. And even in that sense, Dangote's profit margin would be above 100% because he is selling at more than double his cost of production.

3. Few, if any, manufacturing businesses in the west that earn profit margins like that. Not even pharmaceutical companies after factoring research expense, salaries and regulations. You Nigerians are really just poorly educated monkeys. I don't know what they teach you in school.
