Hello programmers, please your advice and suggestions are highly needed.
I have being programming for a while, and to an extent, am confident in myself that i am able and capable to handle a project effectively and get it done. But haven't said that, it doesn't work that way. I have lost some jobs n opportunities just because of a simple and straight forward question which is " Show us what you have done before "
I only have a job to show and of which, they are not satisfied because they need more that a job to be convinced. Even most times, doing a free job for people just to build my profile is not even easy to get and not coming forth, hence, condition wants to remain permanent. So for successful and gainfully employed programmers and freelancers in the house, how were you able to scale through this process and what will you suggest for me and anyone in this scenario right now. Thank you
