How do we select the good eggs from the bad ones? The movie industry is filled is horrible actors who pride themselves as exceptional actors due to popularity or box office hit of the movie they feature in. Truth be told, being a part of a good movie or having your movie make over a billion naira in the cinema, doesn’t take away bad acting. For example, you go to the cinemas to watch a Nollywood movie, you are satisfied at the turn out of the whole movie but you just can’t seem to forget that particular actor/actress that just didn’t kill it for you with their bad interpretation of roles. The annoying thing about some of these Nollywood actors that fall into this category of Popular Nigerian Actors That Are Not Exceptional Actors is that once a negative review is published about their whack acting skills, they would go on a ranting trip on their various social media handles. (Just because you post flawless pictures and flaunt yourselves as fashion icons doesn’t change the fact that you suck at acting). The list of actors that need to take acting classes or repeat their classes cannot be exhausted. Does training help make one a great actor? Training has always helped everything, so it definitely should help in a way. But then, we have some actors who claim to have undergone a certain kind of training, and trust me, you don’t even want to watch them on your TV screens. 1. Rukky Sanda She calls herself an actress and a producer; as an actress she has featured in thousands of movies and have produced over 25 movies. Yes, you read right, 25 movies!! The question everyone is asking is how does Rukky Sanda do this? Is she that bad as an actress and a producer? 25 movies with top Nollywood and Ghollywood actors starring in them yet none made it to the top 100 movie ever produced in Nigeria. Aunty Rukky, it is not all about upping your ‘selfie’ game, please also up your acting skills. Onyii Alex Recently, Onyii Alex is on the verge of breaking our phones with her curvaceous and banging body photos. We only wish she would break our TV screens with great acting but no, she keeps making it hard for us to watch any movie she is featured in. So sad!! Maybe she should change her career line and opt out for modeling. Lilian Esoro If it is not a scene that involves gossip or bad mouthing a colleague then the mother of one is a NO NO. When you interview these celebrities, they will tell you that as an actor I am supposed to interpret any role given to me effortlessly, but this statement doesn’t apply to Lilian Esoro. Lily it would be nice to see you kill other roles to. IK Ogbonna His name would have come first on the list but I was finding the right words to describe IK Ogbonna’s whack acting skills. From his zero facial expressions, to his over doing it. Dude, take a chill pill!! Leave the job for those who know what it takes to be an actor. Everything no be fine boy ooo (everything is not by good looks). Alexx Ekubo This dude is another actor I believe needs to be tutored in acting. No doubt, Alexx delivers on some roles but most times when he is casted alongside top notch actors there is this aura of wanting to prove a point. Dear Alexx, there is no need for that you know the job, you know your lines so just flow with plus you have one thing the others don’t have which is your sarcastic nature and funny facial expressions. What do I even know sef? Take it or leave it. AY Makun Both at acting and comedy, AY is horrible at both. Please sir, stick to production at least you are good at that. Uti Nwachukwu This is another whack actor in the fine boy category. I wouldn’t even say much. Just watch any movie he has ever featured in and do the review yourself. Uti is a NO NO NO NO. Here is a piece of advice, Uti please stick to presenting and modeling at least you try for that side. Gbenro Ajibade Gbenro fluctuates like NEPA!! Today he is on top of his game the next he is acting like someone who doesn’t know jack shit about the job. Gbenro, we all know that good looks is what is selling now in the industry so please stick to the roles that will accentuates your good features and leave the rest to others. Stop trying too hard. Bryan Okwara Leave the movie industry already!! If you don’t want to learn the ‘dos’ and ‘donts’ of the job then please quit. We have enough dripping hot sauce men. Acting is not for everybody. Not all models are meant to be actors. Choose one and perfect it before jumping to another. Daniella Okeke I don’t even understand how she found herself in the movie industry. Guess most producers now know what kind of actress she is and they hardly ever cast her in any serious role. Hmmm… This industry!! Every body banging individual thinks Nollywood is their territory to own.. Mtcheeww!! Who are those actors that fail to do it for you on screen? Let us know via the comment box. http://dopetv.ng/life/entertainment-feature/dopeexclusive-10-popular-nigerian-actors-that-are-not-exceptional-actors/

News of Omoni Oboli’s movie “Okafor’s Law” has been making headlines for a while now as a man known as Jude Idada stepped out to say Omoni had stolen his work. The Nollywood actress who seems to not be bothered went about with her business of promoting the movie as well as getting so many fans engaged in what the movie stands for and more. Omoni Oboli’s film, Okafor’s Law was supposed to be premiered to thousands of guests who gathered at IMAX Cinema, Lekki Lagos last Friday, 24th March but the planned event was soon short lived when a court injunction obtained by Raconteur Productions restricted the movie from showing. However, there is now good news for Omoni Oboli’s camp and fans because the injunction was lifted today, 30, March 2017 by Justice N. Buba of the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, Lagos. The court lifted the injunction while stating that the movie should not have been prevented from showing in the first place since the copyright claim suit is yet to be determined by a competent court of law. The movie, Okafor’s Law will now be showing nationwide in all cinemas from Friday, March 31, 2017. - See more at: http://www.broadwayafrica.com/breaking-news-court-lifts-injunction-on-omoni-obolis-okafors-law-as-movie-premieres-tomorrow/#sthash.spkDdjoP.dpuf

Fashion has been described differently by female celebrities. Some say their wrist watches, shoes, hand bags or even makeups means everything to them, others claim that their sun shades is a can’t-do-without fashionable item for them. But, I guess the trend has changed as septum rings or nose rings which is worn without actually piercing the nostrils is here to stay. A lot of celebrities ranging from American’s teen reality star, Kylie Jenner to our very own screen divas such as Rukky Sanda, Halima Abubakar, Eniola Badmus, Angela Okorie and Controversial singer Cynthia Morgan are all rocking it.
