No bashing please

I am a 25 years graduate, and all through my life, I have never dated anybody. Reasons being that i didn't feel any sort of connection with anybody. i dont believe in dating and dumping, instead, it should be dating that leads to marriage.

But of recent, i have been faced with feeling of lust though am trying really hard to cope

The question is how does one cope with lust or rather, i should i forget about it? and again is that feeling a sin?
