I hope you can tackle Sanusi or probe his past actions. Let independent auditors review the books of rescued Banks which he did not allow the MDs to defend themselves.madam shouuld look into recent Nationalization of 3 Banks in Nigeria, these are banks that have prospective buyers but because Sanusi says NO the bidders have to back out.

Madam you are here to create jobs but Sanusi has been here to create unemployment in the Banking sector. Recession was around during Soludo's time but he managed the situation, we don't need to manage the economy at detriment of common man

I hope she can stand up against vindictive CBN Governor, let's hope she is not going to behave like AGANGA who was answerable to SANUSI

BusinessRe: Happy 50th Birthday: Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi-31/07/2011 by adamawa: 9:46pm On Aug 01, 2011
Happy Birhday, I pray God Almighty will open your eyes to see your mistakes and correct them; I hope those who cursed you for the untold hardship you brought upon them will pray for you. I am using this opportunity to advise you to consider common man when taking action and not to allow sentiments/personal interest/ vengeance to becolud your sense of judgements.

So many Bankers have been thrown to labour markets because of your actions and not because of meltdown. Please prevail onthem to stop using rationalization as a tool to cut cost.

I will also implore you to take cursory look at withdrawal limits, in all sincerity it is a good idea but Nigeria is not ripe for this. Nigerians will always find a way round it, the TRUST in BUSINESS is not avilable in the country. Many people now think of opening several accounts with different Banks. Others will not keep their in the Banks. Many rural communities don't have Bank at all. Masses will b e at receiving end.

Islamic Banking is good but becareful because of what religion can cause, let the Banks start offering the products and from their institutionalized it
BusinessRe: Sanusi And Banking Sector by adamawa(op): 10:09pm On Jul 29, 2011
I don't need to be Banker or Industry Insider to be able to see that our CBN Governor is dragging us back. If you watch events as it unfolds since he became the Governor, you will agree with me that he has a mission. Sometime ago he asked Banks not to operate ATM outside their premises, now they can operate after making them to spend so much.

I don't need to be insider to hear our CBN Governor gtelling the whole world that the Banks will be liquidated by September. As a business owner,if you fail in a particular business does me that you a failure for life. Why can't he allow the shareholders to recapitalize their Banks instead of selling it for peanuts.I PITY THE NEXT GENERATION OF GRADUATES, Banks used to be highest employer of labour but reverse is the case now.

To answer your question, i work in Insurance company
BusinessRe: Listening To Sanusi, I Am Proud To Be A Nigerian! by adamawa: 9:27pm On Jul 28, 2011
How I wish people can see beyond Sanusi as an orator. Sanusi has created more unemployment in the Banking sector than he met it. He is talking about N150,000 and N1,000,000 cash withdrawal limits. How will traders who buy their goods from Onitsha, Kano, Ibadan, Aba etc buy their stuffs. Will a malam have POS or accept cheque lodgement . What can we look beyond his statement, his analysis that 10% withdrawal more than 150k is a big lie, independent consultant should conduct the research. His action will create more unemployment again and will affect our economy. Things can be done properly without bringing the sentiments of Islamic Banking to destabilize  the country.

How I wish Jonathan can take decisive action on this man,he has not established anything but he keeps destroying others, all his life has been as an employee collecting salary.sanusi has destroyed so many homes. why can't he allow shareholders to recapitalized the ailing Banks instead of selling them for peanuts.

Imagine Access Bank to buy over Intercontinental, a bigger bank. They are planning to sack more than 70% of the staffs. What are we saying? He talks and people believed him, why did'nt he allowed Akingbola, Ibru,Nwosu and others to defend themselves before sacking them, injustice of highest order. They might have goofed but there is nothing they did that Ovia, Aig,Elumelu and other MDs did not do.

Check his appointed MD and  EDs to these banks, they are looting like no man's business. They are negotiating on behalf of a bank they don't have stake.what do you expect

Can I ask a question here, what has Sanusi achieved since he became CBN governor? To the best of my knowledge, his only achievement is POPULARITY. In as much as he tried to sanitize the Banking sector, he brought untold hardships to the sector. It is only in Sanusi's time that Banks find it easy to sack thousands of their staffs at will. Number of casualties in the sector in the last 2 years is times 50 of the affected bankers in the last 10 years. Sanusi has only contributed to unemployment in Nigeria most Banks now see staff rationalization as the shortest way to cut cost.

Forget about what Soludo did, I see him as an economist who will not want business to go down. Ibru, Akingbola would have gone and the Banks remain but Sanusi been tribalistic left Unity Bank with worst situation than Union, Oceanic alone

I must say I admire his strongwill and fearlessness especially against National assembly. AMCON has always been Soludo's idea

Congratulations LAMIDO, it is indeed great to see Nigerians been honoured by FT who at one time honoured Cecilai Ibru, Erastus Akingbola and Co,

Sanusi would have been great for his actions in Banking sector if not mass sack in the sector, so many people lost their jobs and more are about. Any policy that will add to unemployment rate in Nigeria is ANTI-PEOPLE

Why are you bringing down this Bank? Oceanic is just like any other Bank in Nigeria, They have their pros and cons? Most Banks now use allocated withdrawal booklet and ATM card is a phenomenon in Nigeria. Oceanic produced Banks for virtually all their customers with Old ATM card

Why are you all talking this way, this woman was not convicted for stealing or corruption. Cross check why she pleaded guilty and the count charges.

They should leave her alone, she did not steal anybody's money, never worked in government. Sanusi shuold establish a Micro finance bank and is if it will be quarter successful as Oceanic bank
