I used d online payment method to register for my IELTS n twas successful cos I wrote my exam yesterday ... if u av GTBank Internet banking enabled den u cn always create a secure code on deir website. Its a 5mins procedure n getting ur way arnd it is d best method for d IELTS payment ... I even paid for a fwend last week so it wrks 100% ... LoL...no big deal on diz...after u apply online, print out ur application, and gada it with all your original documents + 2 sets of fotocopy each, + ur international passport if u be nigerian, + 3passport foto, + result checking card which is a new waec scratch card, den post wit dhl, fed ex or ups to d embassy 2weeks b4 ur date .....when u get to d embassy on dat day, d 1st tin dey will show u is ur docs...also u av already presented ur international passport that way...
U dnt need to contact waec, just buy d card 600 naira or so.

u will only need it when applying for your residence permit. make sure the age on it tally with your passport and all, a guy was denied cuz of that

Thanks man....I saw one other thing, we are to submit all our original docs two weeks prior to interview.it was stated in a list I saw that we should submit our international passport with it BUT it was stated again that we must present our international passport on arrival at the embassy. Also, we need a result checking card..seems we gotta contact waec for that abi how person go get am......watz up on that.

Lol.....na FUT Akure o. If you are sending to a school within Nigeria, its 2k, also if you need a personal copy, its 1k but incase of of sending abroad na 10k ....I will be applying by next week....so by 2nd week of dec, it will get to finland. It takes 2weeks for them to do the processing and 3-4days to get to finland. I will send my application forms around that time too.

For those that will be using NIPOST that way...don't let your school staple it or tape it (if u r from OSU, dey wil tape it b4 u knw it..tell dem to just stamp d seal, U.I will never staple or use tape, dnt knw abt other xools), nipost will reject it for R.mail...u will have to use the normal mail wc takes 21 working days at least (that's wah our xools use coz its cheap...200naira..that's y it gets there late)

Completion time of study shows in your transcript naa......it shows you use 8semesters which is 4years or in my own case 10 semesters, 5years.

I sent my transcripts myself last year and I didn't really have any issues. The point is ur sch will issue the transcript and stamp the seal of the envelope, so there's no way UAF ll kno it was mailed by you. Just make sure you write the name of ur sch as sending organization and probably use the name of ur Registrar as the sending official.
Especially if ur sch is not in Lagos, it could take them an age to mail it, so 4 me it's better to av ur destiny in ur hand rather than some lazy sch official.

but the question is how many weeks will it take the school to process and get the transcript to uaf..........it cant be instant. am sure it will take 2-3weeks........................so its advisable start the processing by ending of nov, so by 2nd weeek of dec, transcript is should be at uaf

There is something I wish to let u guys take note...send your transcript and docs within close time...last year, I sent a transcript den some few weeks latter, I posted the docs...den uaf said transcript never arrive in january...*I know wah I went tru b4 we could track d transcript to one of their staff*...if possible let ur docs be there b4 transcript or let dem leave nigeria same day...and if that's not possible...d days diff should not be too much...

You get it bro...that's what am trying to do. By the time I apply, my trabscript should be there within 4-7days max.

Not at all.....@sirkezman already posted it here that we will have to submit more than one set if you're applying for more than one course. Also, I got this msg from UAF. Check the screenshot.
