I used to like this man called Putin during his first stint as Russian President which was during the tenure of highly respected world leaders like; US President George Bush, French President Jack Chirac and later Nicholas Sarkozy, Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, and German Chancellor Gerhad Schroder. These men together made great impact on the whole world. I was a young teenage boy highly fascinated about global politics and science back then, so I followed these events religiously.


Unfortunately Putin began to feel untouchable and unrealistic after reinstalling himself as Prime Minister and later President again.


Imagine Putin that started a senseless unprovoked war against Ukraine on mere speculation and suspicion that Ukraine would join NATO.


What people didn't know is that Putin is a fascist as well as a chauvinist who thinks Russians are the best of humans ever created on earth and should own all the lands and people in Eastern Europe.


This power drunk man invaded and annexed Crimea in 2014, that was not enough for him, and because Europe and NATO refused to collectively stop him, he felt Russia is untouchable and can grab more lands in Ukraine, he then came back on the guise of trying to stop Ukraine from joining NATO and to de-Nazify Ukraine (whatever that nonsense means to Putin) to unjustly invade Ukraine that didn't even have a well equipped military around 2022, he invaded them unprovoked just because his preferred Ukrainian President was chased out by Ukrainians, and some heartless Nigerians have been busy cheering him on for killing thousands of Ukrainians unprovoked and they think nature will be happy with them.



I am glad Ukraine has surprised and exposed Russia as a country leaving in their past glory because before that unjust invasion of Ukraine unprovoked, I never imagined Ukraine surviving 7 days of Russian full invasion but surprisingly, Ukraine proved me and the rest of the world wrong by repelling Russian onslaught and pushing Russia back with heavy military casualties on Russian side more than I ever imagined.


Now Putin have seen the handwriting on the wall that there is huge danger ahead should he continue with his senseless invasion of Ukraine. Thousands of Russian men have been killed fighting a stupid, unjust war in a foreign country, yes thousands of Ukrainians too have died, but Russia and Putin didn't envisage the huge loss on their side, and now Russia is running out of men to fight Ukraine as many Russians already fled Russia while those in Russia refused to enlist in the Russian army since the Ukrainian war began unlike before the war, this is according to statistics of Russian military recruitment and enlistment.


Russia is now heavily relying on paid foreign mercenaries to fight Ukraine, and even the Crimea Russia annexed in 2014 is no longer safe as Ukrainian military are now raining dozens of missiles in Crimea which caused Russia to deploy their S-400 missile defense system to the area but to no avail as the S-400 anti missile defense system failed to stop Ukraine's onslaught on Crimea region.



This has pushed Putin to deploy their most recent and most sophisticated anti missile defense system called S-500 yesterday but trust me, it will be knocked out by Ukraine again as Ukraine have vowed to recover every Ukrainian territory Russia unjustly took by force. And with the recent boldness from US and other EU member countries in sending sophisticated military weapons to Ukraine, damming Putin's threat of using nuclear weapon should they donate military weapons to Ukraine, Putin is beginning to get jittery and he also knows that should the war continue after US Presidential election in November, anything can happen.



So I say to hell with Putin and his request for ceasefire. His demands are rather foolish and senseless.
