@speartaker. If u think that any of the aforementioned solution proferred above is not feasible then I have got couple of questions for u. 1. When does ur school resumes 2. During this period of strike, have u witnessed any onyone that could not make his/her interview? 3. was their missed appointment for interviw re-scheduled for them without having to pay any money?or did they forfeit their money? |
@speartaker. I am very happy for u because I definitely believe that people like u goes in life to succeed because of u open mind and ethusiasm.if by any chance that the banks do not open before ur interview date, I would advise that u speak to ur sponsor to go to any branch of his bank and ask for a letter confirming that he is an account holder in the bank and that his account is operation from so so period to so so period.(I guess u understand this type of letter) Also ask your sponsor if he has any statement at home that is not older that 3 months. Lastly anothr thing that u could do is to ask ur sponsor to pls print copies of his statement of account online for the last 3-6 months and write a letter in support of it explaining the circumstances behind why you have to present the copies and un certified. I think that this will help because it is better than not taking anything along with u on ur interview date. Also I must add this!if u sponsor is very close to u and really want to help, u can ask him to support u will some paper work like payslips, cheques, receipts showing possible transactions on his statement account if eventually printed online.with all these, u can defend the statement and get ur visa |
@poster.pls can u send more details to me at biyiade2@yahoo.com |
@shdnky. That is the problem. As u lay ur bed so ---. I will not lose hope. Something may have attracted them to ur statement and as at 1/11/12,they have no evidence to conclude that it is fake. All u need to do now is pray and fast that the date of resumption should prompt them to assume it to be real and overlook their initial opium. What bank did u use? |
@shdnky. Can u pls confirm the next term of entry after the 17th . If they really want to confirm the bank statement at this period in time , u may not make the 17th but no to worry. If u don't get a call between now and next week from them, u may anticipate joing them later for another entry but u will get ur visa |
@shdnky. I must really commend u so far on your staedfastness and calmness during the interview process.I would not want you to fret urself on this issue because I sincere believe with any iota of doubt that u visa should be issued. One things that bothers me is ur bank statement. If u are definitely sure that the statement is geniue and real then u have no cause for alarm. You will definitely be contacted as soon as they verify its authenticicy. Also I must really say again to every other poeple who will be going for their interview. Pls and pls ensure that u have all necessary documents with u . Both originals and copies. Do not risk anything. I know that shdnky would have got his visa on 1/10/12 had it been he had a copy of his waec result. Once bitten twice shy |
@speartaker.Ds160 is the non immigrant visa application form submitted online / electronically over the internet to the department of secretary of stateam .the consular use the form and part interview to access ur eligibility for the visa.Be there at the consulate at least 2 hours b4 ur scheduled time. |
@freecocoa. Thanks.it is one of those things'youthful deliquency' |
@freecocoa. I am very sorry for her outburst on u. But I would have preferred you to exhibit maturiry over this issue. I would enshew annonyance and embrace love without retaliating as 'eye for an eye'. I would have done the same if I were to be in ur shoe.she has enough that she is coping with already so let thread wisely. |
@speartaker. U could call the school and ask that the originals be sent to u if u have still got time. And if u, ask them to send a letter to the embassay stating the circumstance for sending them to u as attachments and also ask same copy of letter sent to u. All u need to defend calmly is why u r not having the originals. Fingers cross, u will get ur visa |
@vivika. Further from all my responses and gathering all my observation, one think that I must really say is just to count urself been very lucky that in the first place u have got a good mother who understands tha importance of education and also believes in its dividends. Also I should even congratulate you more because u r not in nija but in the states studying in one of the prestigeous university. The possibilities are certain that u will definitely complete ur studies at the stipulated time without any fear of strike action or any unforseen circumstances. Looking at what u have achieved so far, I must really commend u because I sincerely believe that the issues have always been a burden to u for long but u just could bear it alone and which has prompted you to seek for people's opium.I would advice u to summon the courage to continue in uir stride to complete ur education because if eventally u start ur business, u still need the basis. U r only been thought theory while at school But u will need them to survive when u embrace the practicality. U mon and brothers are in the business now,but one of u if not u need the education one way or the other for the survival of the business. Would u be happy when ur family business start dwindling sequel to issues arising from lack of knowledge. Come to think of it even most businesses thriving well sends their staff to school for professional courses which would be beneficiary to the company. After ur studies at NYU,u may also need to talk short professional courses to succeed in the business world. Lastly, I must iterate that life is all about change, if anything happens to ur family business and ur have been able to complete ur study, u would Definitely just go back home, dust ur certificate and hopefully , u have something to fall back at. Now consider if u did not finish ur education and then u r 30+, what would u do. A world is enough for the wise |
@vivika.considering ur last two outburst on the last two respondent,I think you r the cause of ur worries. U can not have ur cake and eat it. The truth is always bittet.it just that you know what you want for urself but u r too in a hurry to achieve them forgetting about the presure from ur mum.I would advice you that u settle ur mind and determine why is more important to u.priority U can not use a single to kill two birds. I would be happy to talk with you on fone if u happy to send me ur contacts through biyiade2@yahoo.com |
@zhandul. I have five investors on board.1M each. Can u send more datailed info to us at biyiade2@yahoo.com. Documentations are welcome |
@ poster.I sincerely appreciate ur utmost sincerity. I don't know what u have gone through or going through but all I have to say is for you to trust in God and always pray. Also I want you to change the attitude of looking down upon urself. Not Until u start believing in yourself that things would change. Every mother wants the best for their children and I don't blame her for her zeal. Forget about what people say about you and don't fret youself physically or emotion. With God,all things are possible.lastly education is very important, do not give in to temptations because it is one of the tactics of the devil |

@imperiousxxx.well,it happens at time but does that mean what happen to you is a general thing.preparatiom matters as well.let just pray that the mercies and favour of God not to delude us.Each V0 has a set no of visa to be issued each day, month and even year.it is well my brother.I hope that you r enjoying the devidend of ur perstilence. |
@silibaba.sorry to say that yoruba girls are not dull but one can say that the are not contended. |
@ade101.I pay homage to evrybody in the house.I have read through the post with great interest.I think that everybody is doing a great job.I am happy to contribute in any form because I have been in the field procuring visa for people to study in the usa, england and canada. Firstly I must iterate that the VO is just somebody like us doing his/her normal daily job.THey have no Information about you in the first instance and the only before them is the documents that you have submitted and what is left for you to do is to defend the documents that you have submitted and the document therein.THe only different between you and them is just the colour of the skin which I think does not matter.I know that fear and lack of composture have always been akined to Visa refusal. IT is always advisable that you are ready for your visa interview because it only takes couple of minutes in as much that u can give definite and simple answers to the questions being asked.your answers must be short and simple.if the V0 would want you to substantiate,he/she would ask.One other thing that I must emphasizeis that you make sure all documents submitted are geniue because they have Template of all possible documents that can be submitted.sometimes an applicant wonders why he/she is being refused all the time.it could be as a result of a fradulent document submitted a long while ago. Also u should be aware that they make record of every refusal and reasons. @ade101.back to your questions,u can apply to study for your undergraduate at any point in time even if you are currently studying for undergraduate at any nigerian university.it does affect ur chance of been issued with a visa provided you can defend your reason for wanting to quit ur study in nigeria for study in usa,uk or canada.you can site reason like the incessant strike embarked upon by lecturer thus extending ur stay at the university, issue of cultism, more exposure to practical in real word etc but to mention a few. Also u spoke about which school you could apply and be legally allowed to work.I will encourage you to go for canada.the process takes between 12-18 month. After your bsc,u can apply for a work permit for canada and could even take ur family with u,but bear in mind that a lot is involve such as medical tests, paper work, police report etc.All d best |
@poster.I am not surprised that it happened to her.she is a nigerian and most of our girls are not contended with what they have.she succumb to things of life.she was enticed by what she was getting and you know men can do anything for a girl to have their way.The intention of the man in question was to use her and dump her but unfortunately, the unexpected happened. I sincerely believe that this lady had someone before who loved her but she could have left him because she wanted to reap from where she has not sown. Nemesis |

@muami.u r definitely getting things wrong with d poster. Don't let us deviate from the fact that removing fuel subsidy at this time is not the right thing to do considering many factors which include the current situation of things in nigeria. Also let us ask our selves the rationale of removing the subsidy? Is the government not shying away from their responsibilities to nigerians or are they averting the subsidy to other areas of importance that will benefit all nigerians? |
@mrc1.let be frantic. Does the reversal of the fuel subsidy change the corrupt nature of the country. These are two different things and should be dealt with separately. |
