SCREENING OF 2009/2010 UME CANDIDATES FOR ADMISSION

The University of Ibadan, Ibadan, hereby requests all candidates who made the University their First choice in the 2009/2010 UME and scored 200 and above, to submit the results of their SSCE WASC/NECO or equivalent certificate ONLINE directly through http://www.admissions.ui.edu.ng or via http://www.ui.edu.ng/admissions on or before Saturday 12 July 2009.
Bona-fide candidates who are expecting the release of their results CANNOT participate in the current on-line exercise, until such results are released. SSCE or equivalent results released after 31st August 2009 will not be considered for the 2009/2010 Admissions Exercise.
3. Instructions

(i) Present JAMB result slip and pay N2,000.00 into U.I. Students Fee Account (See datails below) at any of the approved branches of Afribank, First Bank and Wema Bank (See List of approved branches above) nearest to you:

Candidates presenting two ‘O’ level results (2 sittings) should ensure that, the comprehensive details of, both results are submitted.


5. The deadline for submission of ‘O’ level results may not be extended. Any candidate whose results are not submitted at the stipulated time may not be considered for admission.


6. Misrepresentation of document is a serious offence. Candidates are therefore advised to submit genuine document only. Any one found guilty of this offence will be disqualified automatically and may be handed over to the Police.

The attention of all candidates who made Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife their first and/or second choice in the 2009 JAMB University Matriculation Examination (UME) is hereby invited to the fact that owing to certain unforeseen circumstances occasioned by the national strike actions by the various staff unions in the Universities, and the impact on the preparations for the conduct of the 2009 Post UME Screening Exercise in the University, it has become expedient to postpone the exercise earlier scheduled to hold on Saturday, July 4, 2009 until further notice.



Candidates are assured that every other activity hitherto embarked upon in respect of their registration for the exercise remains valid. A new date for the conduct of the screening will be announced in due course.

The University of Lagos hereby announces the details of its Post-UTME Screening Exercise for Admission into ALL COURSES/PROGRAMMES for the 2010/2011 Academic Year. It should be noted that the screening would be computer-based in relevant UTME subjects. Provisions have been made for candidates to be familiar with the use of computer on the website for a demonstration practice test.

A. DATE AND TIME:

The Screening Exercise will take place according to the schedule below between Tuesday 6th July and Wednesday 14th July, 2010 from 8.00a.m each day

B. ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES:

All candidates who scored 200 and above and have made UNILAG their FIRST CHOICE Institution, in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) are eligible for the screening. In addition the candidates must possess (five) 5 credit passes in relevant O’level subjects including Mathematics and English Language at ONE sitting. Candidates awaiting results are also eligible. Candidates who will not be sixteen (16) years of age by 1st October, 2010 are not eligible

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

GSM, electronic calculators and other devices are not allowed.
Parents, Guardians and other unauthorized personnel will not be allowed on the campus and at the screening centres during the Post-UTME Exercise.
