Eventually, if u are cleared during d clearance, what abt d chances of having d required grades in each subject ur b4 pd ends? Going 4 d waec and clearing all ur papers will be preferrable.

I doff my hat for u "sha". Being an art student in d SSS and writing science subjects in waec with mighty physics and chemistry. Phy and chem are not smiling ooo.
Anyway, a guy on NL did it and scaled tru d admission hurdles. He is now studying medicine, but, i must confess it's arduously taxing.


Registration for Unilorin's rem is ongoing, Unilag foundational prog(expensive) is also reco. Others are dat of state univs pd prog.

I'd love u to visit oaucdl.edu.ng and click on the FAQs( frequently asked questions) abt pd. There u will have motherlode pieces of info u will very much appreciate.

Frankly, can u tell me y it is worth waiting for another PD acadamic session? That is a 12 month, the duration of the programme is also exclusive(9 months) let alone the myriads of months one will have to stay after the d pd programme(8 months+) pending the resumption for undergraduate admission.

I don't think it is worth waiting for. There are oda nice predegree or remedial programmes out dia that u can go for dis very year. I can recommend them if u want dem. And if oau is ur desired univ, u can choose her in jamb irrespective of the pd skul u enroll for this year.

And y i wanna wait till next yr is because i only hav Arts subjects in ma O'level result but due to one reason or the other, i wanna write Science subjects in WAEC next yr, so i can use it 2 apply 4 pd. Or do u fink i can apply wit Art subjects dis yr and cross over for a degree in science course wit Science 0'Level results for admission. Don't know if u get my point. Guys dat make good grades in pd are those that are prepared for it b4 d programme commences.

You must love and jack lamlads by force. It is the commonest buk every predite uses for jamb,pd and postjamb. I think I was almost through with lamlad b4 i left for it and it really helped me. Invisible teacher is also rattling and smashing to bring 30% english syllabus in pd and 80% english syllabus in jamb to ur knees.

Amb Fitsaint: Pd gives u d edge over other aspirants when it comes to admission into the OAU. Out of 2500 predites admitted annually, 1500(ball park figure) will be offered admission even at the expense of jambites if all the 2500 make the general cutoff which is 180 for jamb and 60% for pd.
In comparison to the outrageous applicants that seek admission through postjamb( in 2011 for instance), they were abt 42000, 8600+ scored above 200, only 3500 wud probably be admitted though the admission quota is 5000+ for oau but predites wud always be favourably considered.
Paying such an exorbitant skul fee and passing through the vigorous lectures, endless stress, acidic contact tests and exams in pd will activate seriousness and unleash the genius in you. Many jambites dat have made several attempts tru postjamb to be admitted but futile tend to bomb when they get to pd. For instance, it is said dat more 30% of pple dat score above 300 are always predites in postjamb. E.g d best postjamb and 2nd best postjamb students dis year were predites with the best having a jamb score of 288. This is cos of the exposure to the oau style of questions through pd and d industrious culture pd imbibes in predites.
Pd offers use a very high chance of getting competitive course like engineering, law and may be medicine cos of the not so high cut off through for those courses through pd. E.g engineering is 60+ through pd and 250+ through jamb dis year.

Considering d fact dat d general cutoff for jamb is 180 through pd into oau unlike 200 for a jambite compel the conclusion that GREAT IFE PREDITES ARE GIVEN PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT WHEN IT COMES TO UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSION.
Lest I 4get, predites outstand and outsmart others on the main campus OAU. Don't ask me yyyyyyy
