The past week was undeniably eventful and dramatic in the house. The fights, relationships, tasks, and parties kept fans alive with the social media buzzing about the quality of this season’s contenders for the ultimate prize of ₦100million. It’s undoubted that there was a lot to catch up with as the housemates continue to deliver on their promises of bringing in energy. Viewers think Big Brother actually acting on the complaints of the BBNaija Season 6 housemates was being too boring. This season’s selection of housemates is commendable - the content we signed up for. Yesterday was somewhat solemn in the house after the most provocative fight between Ilebaye and Beauty. They should have gotten awards for being the most confrontational so far. Instead, Beauty earned a strike while Ilebaye was warned. We hope to see more fights and less love, you probably do not agree but we do. Most housemates spent time packing yesterday, however, we see few of them unbothered like ‘e sure for them.' More than 10, 000 Nigerians from across the 19 northern States, on Friday, converged in Abuja, to protest the Muslim ticket adopted by Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The protesters, under the aegis of All Christians Community of Northern Nigeria, marched to the Presidential Villa to present a protest letter to the Federal Government over the Muslim ticket adopted by the APC. Leader of the group, Moses Adams said these are without a doubt not the most ideal times for Christians in the APC and Nigeria in general. He said the sensibilities of Christians have been“insulted by the ambition of a select few that have elected to throw caution to the wind.” He noticed that Nigeria is a multi-ethnic and multi-religious State, with Islam and Christianity as the two major religions which have defined the country’s lifestyle since independence, adding that successive governments have regarded the country’s multi-religious nature, particularly during elections, to make an equilibrium in the leadership of the country. Mr. Adams said the decision of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to ignore the Christian community in the choice of its vice presidential candidate for the 2023 presidential election was, consequently, “unacceptable and a recipe for creating sharp divides between the Muslims and the Christians in the country.” He pointed out that since the return democracy in 1999 in Nigeria, the tradition has been a Muslim-Christian or Christian-Muslim matching by every single political coalition, which had generally, guaranteed religious congruity in the country. While depicting the APC Muslim ticket as the “height of discrimination against Christians”, he referenced that other political parties reflected religious equilibrium in the arrangement of their presidential group. The Christian group asked why the APC chose for toe this part of shame that, as its would see it, “is deliberate to relegate the Christians in Nigeria into oblivion, which is not in the best interest of the country in this critical period of our existence.” It said Northern Christians were disappointed and irritated by APC’s insensitivity, which demonstrates that Christians are not relevant in that frame of mind of things in the country. The group focused on that the move by the APC was planned to cause an crises of unimaginable proportion along ethno-religious lines It appealed to the President to intervene in reversing the “ignoble move” by the party’s Presidential Candidate. “We demand that you invite the Presidential candidate of the party to quickly retrace his steps immediately,” the group stressed
