A 37-year-old driver, one Emmanuel, was on Wednesday burnt to death in Ilorin, Kwara State capital.

The tragedy occurred at about 20:44hrs (08:44 p.m.) while the driver was in a car, with Reg. No: LSR966GD, which suddenly caught fire and burnt him to death.

According to the spokesman of the State Fire Service, Hassan Adekunle, in Ilorin on Thursday, the car exploded and the victim was burnt to death at the main gate of the Softfort Table Water, situated at Block 2, Obanisuwa Agbejila, along Airport Road, in Ilorin, Kwara State.

“However, firemen were able to retrieve the casualty from the motorcar on time and gave the body to the manager of the water factory named Mr. Surajudeen (the victim’s boss).

“The driver was coming back from a filling station and fully rolled up inside the car, forgetting that he carried 3 gallons of 30 liters of petrol.

“On getting to the factory gate, the petrol suddenly exploded, thereby causing the fire incident.

“The victim’s name was Emmanuel and the cause of the incident was due to lack of proper ventilation in the car,” Hassan disclosed.

The Director, Kwara State Fire Service, Prince Falade John Olumuyiwa, sympathized with the family of the victim over the irreparable loss.

He also urged the general public to take safety measures as paramount, especially whenever they were performing their day-to-day activities, in order to protect their lives and property.

A US-based medical expert, Dr. Ene Innocent has given insight into the health complication which Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar is currently undergoing, saying it is an autoimmune disease which a lot of women acquire during pregnancy.

The Internet on Monday abuzz with a publication alleging that popular Nigerian Pastor, Johnson Suleiman is responsible for the health issues of the Nollywood star.

The health issue, our correspondent gathered causes Halima lots of body pain, in addition to loss of pregnancies.
The publication alleged that Halima’s health complications is spiritual, dating back to days she allegedly had an affair with Pastor Suleiman.

Dr. Ene’s professional intervention has however laid to rest all arguments as the health challenges is purely medical and not spiritual, she explains.

According to the global health expert, autoimmune which appears to be what Halima Abubakar is passing through can be acquired during pregnancies.

She said autoimmune sometimes could be triggered by the baby’s anti-body, a situation she said could induce pregnancy.

She posted on social media, “A lot of women acquire autoimmune diseases during pregnancy. This is sometimes triggered by the baby’s antibodies. That is why there is pregnancy induced diabetes, pregnancy induced anaemia and pregnancy induced high BP. These acquired diseases sometimes makes a pregnancy high risk and some end up not carrying to term or miscarrying”
She further explained that there is no cure for autoimmune diseases “because its your own immune system literally fighting/damaging your cells. People living with them just manage the symptoms which are reoccuring body sores blisters, joint pain, bloating, bleeding etc.”

She added, “Once it is a reoccuring symptoms, a lot of Nigerians stop accepting dignoses and it becomes a spiritual something. Suddenly village people and ex-boyfriends are the culprit.”

In her conclusion, she accused Halima Abubakar of finding herself in box of many lies, stating that there are too many activities going on at the same time, and that alot of questions will be asked in the coming. weeks.

“ls Halima Abubakar desperately ropping herself for Public consumption? Or could this be her pinup way of extortion?

“Well, alot will be unveiled in the coming days…” she said.

Pastor Suleiman has since kept mum, refusing to join in the brickbats in the Internet.

Hmm... This is just so sad. I have given Skynet benefit of a doubt but it seems they are yet to prove me wrong. It's been 2 months plus now and I'm giving the update as promised. Of the 8 items sent, only 4 were successfully delivered. I have been paid #7, 300 some 3 weeks ago which leaves a balance of #16 700. Up till now, the money has not been paid. Please my question is what are they doing with merchant's money? After paying for their service is it proper for them to withhold my money even when buyer has paid? Is this not criminal and very unprofessional? I don't understand, someone please help me understand. As a mini importer every dime is crucial cos we pay heavy face book bills and also need money to source/ship goods abroad among others. I have called Mr Johnson several times but all I get is empty promises. Yesterday, I called twice but he didn't pick. I gathered I am not the only one being treated in this cruel manner but I guess people aren't voicing out and that's why this shit has kept on happening. Some three weeks back, I forwarded eight items to him for delivery and up till now he has refused to pay me despite several calls and texts messages. Several of my buyers have messaged me that they have gotten their goods but this man has refused to pay me. I'm using this medium to inform the public to desist . Just imagine, after spending a lot on buying, shipping and facebook advertising only to be duped. Moreover, I have paid him upfront for delivery.
