they stressed my life these past two-three months. My mail is full of back and forth with them. They sent back my money twice and I had to buy more currency ($) almost $13,000 and every time they returned the money it was a loss for me because I never got the full amount back and the transfer fees were obviously not returned

It took them over two months to send my proof of blocked funds. Two months after my interview. So many needless back and forth. Even had one of ky family friend living in Germany call and visit them.

I did as you suggested and it was collected from me. I was quite surprised because the man I met was the one I’d heard so much about and had been praying not to meet but as my luck would have it he was the one. I was just Lucky he happened to be training a new security guard so he probably didn’t look at the date on the pass and just collected both the document and the pass from me. 🥹😆😆

hello, pls I had my interview on the 3rd of May but couldn’t get blocking confirmation before that day and was told to bring it on/before June 3rd but the blocking confirmation/document still wasn’t ready but I went to the embassy regardless. A lady I met there (a staff/interviewer) said I should write an email stating the issue and also attach the email trail between myself and the bank (fintiba /Sutor) and that when the document is ready I should also attach it to the previous email I sent which I did immediately but I didn’t get any automated response/acknowledgment for the first email. The blocking confirmation is ready and I’ve attached that to the previous email but it’s still radio silence and I don’t know what to do. Is it advisable for me to visit the embassy or should I just wait and hope for the best I’d appreciate inputs/advise. Thank you.

Please did anyone use fintiba to create their blocked account? How long did it take to receive the blocking document from them? I was told two weeks but it has elapsed since Tuesday yet everytime I mail them they keep telling me that their still verifying my source of funds

You have until Monday. If you reside around Lagos, do it today. Monday is your deadline.

I’ve gone to the embassy. Just left. I was told to write them a mail detailing the issue and email trails between the bank and I. Also, when the document is ready I should also forward it and attach the previous mail.

If you reside in Lagos, you don't need another appointment to give them print out from Fintba indicating the availability of the blocked funds.Since tomorrow is Friday, don't use courier like DHL or UPS, rather walk up to the embassy and drop it there. Use an envelop, write your name, contact address and phone number on it. It is better to go before 12noon.
But if you reside outside Lagos, you may not be able to meet the deadline of 2nd june. If so, then use DHL in your location. Use express service for quicker delivery.
Then send an email to info@lago.diplo.de explaining the delay as a result of verification of source of fund. All the best. May your efforts be crowned with resounding success. Cheers

Ohh thank you so much. I realised I got the date wrong, they said on or before June 3rd which is Monday so now I’m confused if I should wait till Monday or just go ahead and submit it tomorrow 😔

Please which category did you book your VISA appointment? If category B, which year and month did you booked? 2022 or 2023? Please answer as this would enable us understand how the appointment date is given. Thank you.

Hello guys, please I had my interview on the third of May and I was told to come back with prof of funds on or before June 2nd. I’ve had several issues getting the money into my fintiba account with my funds being rejected twice. But finally the complete blocked fund is in my account but fintiba is saying it’ll take an extra two weeks to verify my source of funds. So I wanted to ask can I use the account statement that’s reflecting the entire 11,208€ ?
