Selfie camera of my Rn8 is worst then any phone I have ever used. Even with the gcam I haven't notice any difference.

Brov, gcam is on another level o. Dunno if you're just used to seen some sort of picture quality, but the camera is sweet the dynamic range is greatly I'm proved.

P.s I don't see face smoothening as taking good pictures.

Just finished reading the thread, well the part that contains info about rn8 anyways. And just got my rn8 and updated to MIUI 11 right away. So I don't know what I'm missing on MIUI 1o, lol.
Installed gcam straight up. Don't have any issues what so ever with it's quality. Infact it passed the beard hair test flawlessly with the front camera. Everyone should be using gcam, awesome app. Yeah, RN8 is my first xiaomi device.

omokoaustine: i neva do any backup , wat i did was copy all my apps i downloaded to my pc, partition my sdcard den copy back my apps to my sdcard.
I flashed d rom wit dis lastest rom using d recommended flasher and it was successful.

did you use adb drivers or qualcomm drivers, coz the lonk for this qualcomm driver that xanders posted doesnt download o,pls need help
