NYSCWiserent Introduced As New User-friendly Digital Platform To Help Nigerians Find by Adetoye94(op): 12:24am On Jan 22
WiseRent Introduced as New User-Friendly Digital Platform to Help Nigerians Find Genuine Homes

Finding a genuine house to rent in Nigeria has become increasingly difficult, with many renters facing fake listings, unclear property information, and time-consuming searches that often lead nowhere. These challenges have made house hunting stressful for the public and inefficient for landlords and property professionals.

WiseRent, a new digital rental platform developed by Oluwatobiloba Adetoye, has been officially introduced as a solution aimed at making house renting easier, more organised, and more reliable.

The platform is being rolled out in phases, with its initial introduction taking place in January. WiseRent is designed with a strong focus on user experience, allowing renters to easily search for houses through well-structured listings, clear descriptions, and simple filters such as location, price, and property type. This approach helps users find suitable homes faster and with greater confidence.

Unlike many existing platforms where fake or duplicated listings are common, WiseRent prioritises real and verified properties. Listings are managed within defined platform guidelines to reduce misleading information and improve trust for users searching for homes.

WiseRent also introduces features that support landlords and agents. Property owners can upload and manage their own listings directly on the platform, giving them better control over how their properties are presented and reducing unnecessary intermediaries.

To further protect property professionals, WiseRent does not openly display contact details. Instead, it uses a controlled access system known as WiseCoin, which helps ensure that only genuinely interested renters can unlock contact information. This reduces unserious enquiries and allows landlords and agents to focus on meaningful interactions.

Speaking on the introduction, Adetoye said the platform was built to remove common frustrations associated with renting.

“WiseRent is being developed to help people find real houses without the usual stress and uncertainty,” he said. “By focusing on simplicity, verification, and controlled access, we want the rental process to feel easier and more trustworthy for everyone involved.”

Full public functionality of the WiseRent platform is expected to begin from February as the phased rollout continues.

WiseRent reflects a growing effort to bring structure, transparency, and user-friendly design into Nigeria’s rental market.

WiseRent is a digital rental platform operated by t WiseRent Limited.

To My Fellow Nigerian Youth: Together, We Rise

As a young person navigating the same challenges and opportunities as you, I believe in the extraordinary potential we possess as Nigerian youth. Our energy, creativity, and resilience are unmatched, but our greatest strength lies in how we support one another.

Every one of us has a role to play in building a brighter future. It starts with small actions—encouraging a friend, sharing opportunities, or teaching someone a skill you’ve mastered. By lifting others, we don’t lose our light; we make the world around us brighter.

In a time when many feel isolated or discouraged, let’s choose unity. Let’s inspire each other to dream bigger and act bolder. The challenges we face are real, but so is our ability to overcome them—together.

Remember, helping another person succeed doesn’t diminish your greatness; it amplifies it. Whether you mentor, volunteer, or simply offer a listening ear, every effort counts.

We are the heartbeat of this nation, and when we rise together, nothing can stop us. So today, let’s commit to being each other’s strength. Let’s build a Nigeria where we don’t just thrive individually but grow collectively.

The future belongs to us, and it starts with the choices we make now. Together, we can create the change we all dream of.

With hope and solidarity,
