Port Elizabeth - A man was shot in the leg on Tuesday evening for allegedly not having a size 10 spanner in his possession.

Port Elizabeth police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Alwin Labans, said the man, aged 59, and his son, 33, were standing outside their home in Sydenham when two unknown men approached them.

"The one man asked the father if he had a size 10 spanner on him. When the man replied he did not, the suspect drew a firearm and shot him in the upper leg," Labans said.

Labans said the men then fled the scene.

Labans added that a case of attempted murder was being investigated, but no arrests had been made yet.

An official of the lagos state Traffic Management Authority on Saturday slumped while controlling traffic in the Idi Araba area of Lagos. The official, whose identity could not be ascertained as of the time our reporter left the scene, was among those controlling a heavy traffic along Ishaga Road allegedly caused by an event at the Chapel of the Healing Cross, Idi-Araba. There was also a heavy presence of security personnel on the road. The official, who was busy with the heavy traffic situation under the scorching sun, fell down and began to gasp for breath. The incident occurred at about 1:30pm. His colleagues and bystanders had rushed to pull him off the road and made frantic efforts to resuscitate him. Some of the LASTMA officials were seen pounding his chest, while others poured water on him. But when his colleagues realised that he was not responding to the first aid, they took him into their vehicle and drove off.

HARRISBURG, Pa – The U.S. Marshals Service says one of its employees was photographed having sex on the roof of a federal courthouse in Pennsylvania.
A resident of a nearby apartment building who was concerned that there was a security breach snapped the pictures this week and sent them to WHTM-TV in Harrisburg, which alerted authorities.
U.S. Marshal Martin J. Pane issued a statement Thursday confirming the employee's involvement. He said the matter is under investigation.
The photos depict a couple engaged in sex acts on the roof of the Ronald Reagan Federal Courthouse in Harrisburg.
Pane said the Marshals Service is confident that the security integrity of the courthouse is intact.
