The Dollar gang are coming back gradually to nse.....New monikers/questions.
You are welcome and will be guided appropriately by our nice lady and madam mcy

For people that are always advocating, "Convert your naira to dollar and invest in US stock", This will shock you. I was playing around my trove app and decided you use the small $$ I have there to buy random stock. I just checked the app this evening only to discover that my portfolio is down by 100% $0 left. E shock me.

Naira might be shit but this kind of thing can't happen in NGX. Even dead stocks on NGX won't drop to #0

I thought FBNH will catch Zenith again at least for a day. But Zenith gbe bodi and gained N2.2 to close at N36.2 while FBNH lost 40kobo and closed at N32.
Normally, FBNH should be competing with Access and ETI, but there seems to be a never-ending power-play going on.

I wonder why Zenith is lagging behind. I was expecting it to be closing up to gtco at probably around 38/39.

No RIP to this one.She has served the god of this world faithfully in her pornographic film career, and so has gone to receive her reward from the one she dedicated her life and body to his service.
Nigerians and their holy than thou attitude. People that watch porn in their closet will now come to castigate the actor undecided

Una too like to dey argue oo grin
There was system glitch in Morgan or maybe on the Automated Trading Platform of NGX.

There's no way a total of 2.3m units of NASCON would have been done without a 100k moved in-between....

Check the trades for NASCON for instance and try to sum the transactions there, you'll see that some transactions were missing........this must be Cross Deals mostly.
If 100k is not moved, it won't officially move up.
Same for SUGAR and maybe some others.
I wonder why they're arguing grin

A cross deal happened in DS and NASCON at 10.02am. I saw it. Unfortunately, it wasn't showing in trades. DS was exactly 100k, NASCON was 123k

Once there is an official change in price the day high/low will change. And I noticed official price changes even when there is no single 100k deal as long as there is 100k cummulative trades at the same price.
There was a trade of 123,000 on Nascon at 52.4 before it went on full bid.

suggestions to check out on studying valuation: The challenge you will run into is that they mostly north american based content. Valuation of companies

I. everyone in the "Value investing" space around the world recycle / regurg/ refine Ben Graham- franklin templeton's approach. Search youtube for the following finance content creator to understand valuation of companies (They are mostly US based)
a. New money How to Calculate the Intrinsic Value of a Stock in 2023 (Full Example) -
II. check out Peter lynch - would not get much from youtube - I think there is an hour long content . good for understanding approach to see companies

Your bargain price will be determined by your holding period, you knowledge of stock valuation, give necessary margin of safety and monitor market sentiment
I am looking at a holding period of 12month. I don't have much knowledge about stock valuation. If u can recommend courses and books I can take towards improving on that, I will appreciate

Average cost price is more like it.

Dangote Sugar used to be around N6.00, but when I bought more at N17 the average cost price increased to N11.

I can't remember the my cost price for UBA, because I have moved the Investment within 3 stockbroking houses so not easy to track the average cost price
What I'm actually asking is what you consider a bargain price for someone who want to buy presently.

We might not be in a bear market, but smart money will start rebalancing their portfolio.

Probably there are 2 stocks in the same sector. Stock A might have a PE of 60 while stock B might have PE of 8 and they operate in the same industry and having about the same capital and profitability.

The portfolio will be rebalanced by accumulating more the cheaper option and reducing the expensive one
Pls, what is a good entry for Dangsugar and UBA?
Investment / Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Adinije(f): 12:44pm On Jan 31
UBA seems to be on a free fall. Dangsugar should drop too na undecided
