From what I have seen (and bearing in mind our manager's antecedents), it's like Mourihno has reached the "point of no-return". We might have a new manager by the start of next season. |

elampiro: You cannot be at same level with a team that has won 29, drew 1 and lost nil.
Manchester City are playing the football of their life. Admit they are better and get over it. Even if you bring Zidane or another Guardiola to manage United, we wont be at City's level. Their success has been coming, now it has arrived. But they can't remain at the level for too long.
The truth be told, there was a time Ferguson failed to invest in this team. Scholes, Giggs, Carrick, Ferdinand, Vidic were calling for replacement, but nothing happened. Ronaldo and Tevez left, who did we bring? Valencia. Then Berbatov lost form two seasons after.
Many will point to our success of 2012/2013. But that season Bilbao made us look ordinary, and we were inferior on the field of play to Chelsea as many times we played them. Even in the match they played nine men against us. City, Tottenham and Everton were better than us. We won most matches by single goal, mostly late winners. During same period, City kept spending and you think those money spent wouldn't have a future impact? Those players they spent money on - how many of them are still at the club, let alone contributing to their currrent success as we speak? |

PietroRico: Too many brainless players in this club. In as much as I wouldn't blame Mourihno for today's disappointing result, i think it wouldnt be out of place to lay 100% of the blame at his doorstep if eventually his tenure is deemed to be a failure as a result of the bolded. |

City would need some stopping this season - they are the strongest side in the league!! It's rather unfortunate that we have a manager who makes the club invest Hundreds of Millions of pounds into the side...only to implement tactics synonymous with mediocre teams vs Top sides. And to think Mourihno even adopted this over-cautious approach right at Old Trafford. #Sad |

eph12: My younger brother here is making me shame for United and Mourinho. He does not watch match but his comment about us not even able to hold the ball for a second is spot on. When we talk people will say we should keep quiet. Jose should train his team to hold the ball and give quick accurate passes. No be to go dey bully Sunderland ffs We are trailing - we should be the ones showing urgency by stringing passes together & trying to open up the opponent's defence but unfortunately......Chelsea are the ones looking more dangerous & threatening to score a second goal. codedguy1: We have been playing like we are a goal up and I can't see wany counter move from us.
Now we are a goal down, your fears are about t to be televised. If Chelsea had conceded 1st, it's only natural for them to throw everything at us in a bid to equalize...leaving gaps at the back - a perfect recipie for counter attacks. As things are, the best we can get us a draw unless ofcourse something extraordinary happens. |

That would only make sense if we have like 10 to 5mins remaining.
And we need a win, draw no make sense, I don't even want to talk about losing. If we score 1st, it would perfect Mourihno's preferred counter attacking style - I would even expect us to go on & score one more. Tbh...with the way we are playing ATM, our best bet might be a draw. Leyqute: The game could have had a very different outcome if that linesman did his job well. Arsenal would've gone back to London with a point. They were growing in confidence and it was only a matter of time before they scored. City hit them severally on the counter but they weren't as dangerous as they used to be.
The bad officiating just killed the game. Ohkay |
