DELSU To Collaborate With Revive Africa Initiative On Graduands Mentorship Program

The Director-General of Revive Africa Initiative, Ugagaoghene Ogheneyole and selected delegates of the ideal society organization on February 27th, 2020, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor of the Delta State University, Prof Andy Egwuyenga in his campus 2 office in Abraka, seeking collaboration for its graduands mentorship program.

Congratulating the VC for a successful thanksgiving on his appointment, Ugagaoghene in an elaborate speech outlined the activities of Revive Africa Initiative which includes the graduands mentorship program in which the organization seeks interface with the management.

According to him, the graduands mentorship program is aimed at equipping graduating students of higher institutions with life sustainable skills for excellence.

“The graduands mentorship program that’s already in partnership with other institutions nationwide, had it’s first successful edition in DELSU last year with the NANS JCC”, he said while presenting the concept note to the Vice-Chancellor.

Acknowledging the organization for picking up the broken pieces of the society to inspire and mentor fellow young people that are losing confidence in themselves, the VC promised to follow due process en route the office of the dean of students affairs to approve the program in the institution.
