Politics / Obasanjo: Threatens To Commit Suicide If This Happen To Nigeria by Admin1992: 6:40am On Feb 19, 2018
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has said that he wouldn’t mind to commit suicide if Nigeria loses hope even as he offered reasons why he could not chose to remain silent when he sees things going wrong in the country.

He says because he is an incurable optimist in the Nigerian project, he would continue to talk and point out things going wrong because he still believes that Nigeria has great hope.

Answering questions from students of the Ijaw National Academy(INA) Kaiama at the school auditorium as part of activities lined up for his two day working visit to Bayelsa, Obasanjo said in spite of the economic and political challenges confronting the country, there is great hope for Nigeria.

While admitting that there are things that could have been done differently, he insisted that Nigerians should not give up hope as that would spell doom for the country.

If Nigeria does not have hope I would find a rope and commit suicide immediately because then what am I living for? I am an incurable optimist in Nigeria. Nigeria has hope. There are many things we should have done as we should have done them. There is no doubt about that. But that does not mean Nigeria does not have hope.

Look, hope is what drives any human being. A person without hope is like a person without life. How can I therefore say that Nigeria has no hope? Nigeria has hope and you are part of the hope of Nigeria. You asking me that question heightens my conviction that Nigeria has hope. This country in spite of our difficulties, we have hope.

I just came back from Rome and while there I asked the Ambassador what are his major problems and he told me that there are 1600 Nigerians in Italian prisons, that is a problem but we shouldn’t because of that say that there is no hope for Nigeria. No, I won’t say that.

I would say that we have a problem that we have to address and if we don’t address that problem we are postponing the evil day. That doesn’t mean that Nigeria has no hope. Never lose hope. If you lose hope you lose everything. Great hope because of you and great hope because I would not keep my mouth shut when I see things or anything wrong in Nigeria”

Obasanjo who insisted that he has no single regret as military Head of State and civilian President said he did everything humanly possible with the resources, facilities and knowledge at his disposal at that material time.

Is there anything I would have wanted to do with the resources that I had, with the knowledge that I had when I was in government, with facilities that I had that I did not do? I would say no. Now If I had more resources there are things I would have done differently. But with what I had at the time that I had at my disposal and some of the people who worked with me are here, I did all the things I believe are humanly possible for me to do. Now mind you, I did not say that I was perfect, I would never say that, only God is perfect. I did not have any regret when I was in government

When asked to compare and contrast his challenge as a military Head of State and an elected President, he explained that the Dimka coup and subsequent assassination of Muritala Mohammed was a major challenge which he had to deal with.

As an elected President, he said he had to come to grips with the fact that he was dealing with democratic institutions with its own peculiarities.

Dealing with democracy is far different from military government. That was what I had to understand. As military Head of State I did not have a party to contend with, I did not have a National Assembly to contend with, I did not have the opposition to contend with; Labour Union, ASUU etc. These are things that you had to contend with and manage them.

Car Talk / Six Areas To Check Before Buying A Used Vehicle by Admin1992: 5:46pm On Feb 07, 2018
Purchasing an utilized auto can energize in either a decent or awful way. Keeping in mind the end goal to promise you have a positive ordeal, focus on the accompanying six zones when you touch base to investigate the vehicle. In the event that your mechanical learning and aptitudes leave a bit (or a great deal) to be wanted, take an educated relative or companion with you to the arrangement. Purchasing a vehicle that is engaging the eye however is brimming with shrouded repairs can be a discouraging and costly error.

1-Inspect the Exterior
Investigate Used Car Exterior
To start with, ensure the auto is stopped on level ground since it makes it less demanding to get to the vehicle when you are examining. There are a few territories to focus on the vehicle’s outside:
Paint: Look for marks, rust, or scratches that could show past and future disintegration.
Trunk: Usually a decent marker of an auto’s genuine treatment, regardless of the possibility that the outside looks fine.
Tires: Should match and show even wear.
Front: Look for signs that bumpers have been supplanted. It could show a vehicle that has been in a disaster area.

2-Take a Look Inside
It’s not bizarre for an utilized auto to resemble a gorilla has been living inside. Take this as confirmation that the proprietor did not watch out for the vehicle’s mechanical needs any better. In particular, check the upholstery for tears, tears, and stains. Begin the auto and test the ventilation system and warmer.
Investigate the odometer. A normal driver puts 10,000 to 15,000 miles on an auto yearly. This doesn’t really imply that an old auto with couple of miles is a take. Lounging around in a carport for long extends of time isn’t really something to be thankful for.

3-What Lies Beneath
While it won’t not be your most loved errand on the planet, getting on your back on the ground and sliding underneath for a look underneath is an exceptionally keen thought. There are hints to be discovered identified with what could make purchasing the vehicle an awful thought.
Your first request of business ought to be to examine the edge for breaks, twists, or signs that it has been supplanted after a mishap. The fumes framework ought to be free of dark spots, which demonstrates a hole. Run your finger inside the tailpipe since grime could foresee a costly motor repair in your future.

4-Under the Hood
There are a couple of things to observe in the engine. Inordinate imprints, harm, or rust could show it has not been looked after. Discover the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) and record it to look at on the web. Diverse producers find it in different spots, however it shouldn’t be elusive. On the off chance that there isn’t one, be exceptionally suspicious. Hoses and belts ought not be split or delicate.
There shouldn’t be any proof of breaks or consumption around the battery or motor. Take a look under the oil filler top. A frothy deposit implies the head gasket spills, and these are extremely costly to settle. Check the oil and transmission liquid; the oil ought to be an unmistakable to light dark colored shading and the transmission liquid pink or red. Complete off your in the engine examination by checking the planning belt for breaks or inordinate detachment.

5-Controls
You unquestionably need to take an utilized auto for a test drive before getting it. This is an ideal opportunity to tune in and feel how it runs. Regardless of whether programmed or standard, there shouldn’t be any bastards or knocks when changing through the gears. This could mean transmission inconvenience which is another costly repair. As you increment speed, focus on vibrations in the directing wheel, which could mean front-end mechanical parts that should be supplanted. Discover a territory where it’s protected to decelerate quickly (however insufficient to cause a slide). Peculiar clamors, screeches, or a propensity to pull one bearing or the other could point to worn and perhaps risky brake parts.

6-Get Online
You may have the capacity to reveal particular data identified with the auto internet utilizing an administration like Carfax which is the place the VIN proves to be useful. Before you appear to examine the vehicle, look into its Blue Book esteem and check discussions to perceive what sort of audits different proprietors of a similar model are clearing out. Ideally, the proprietor will have a composed log of administration subtle elements, however don’t be astounded on the off chance that they don’t. It doesn’t hurt to inquire.

[b]The Bottom Line
Maybe the best recommendation with regards to investigating an utilized auto is to not be hesitant to leave. Try not to fall so head-over-heels with the thing that you overlook evident issues. There’s constantly another auto to love around the following corner. Additionally remember the way that it is utilized means the cost is debatable. Try not to be hesitant to offer a lower sum and leave if the arrangement sometimes falls short for you.

This is the World’s First 512GB microSD Card

This is the World’s First 512GB microSD Card:

Are you tired of deleting photos and videos just to free up some storage space on your smartphones? Well, these things happen to everyone who uses their smartphone to record HD videos.

Recently, a British company called Integral Memory has announced the memory card with the world’s largest storage capacity, at least for now. It has 512GB of capacity!

With 512GB storage, it beats the current record holder SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I, 400GB which was announced previous year. The latest microSD card from Integral Memory has a minimum sequential recording speed of 10MB/S and can reach a maximum speed of 80Mb/s.

In addition, the new card from Integra is also compatible with V10 (Video Speed Class 10) requirements, which means that it is powerful enough to record videos in 4K without falling write rate.

However, the company doesn’t reveal anything regarding the price of this super-capacity memory card. However, it’s assumed that the latest microSD card will go on sale from February.
