I have made this statement about oil windfall since February but to be honest Tinubu is heartless.
Buhari was not this cold hearted cos he knew that allowing the masses to bear such brunt will lead to a big problem.
Every functioning economy runs on petroleum products, why allow citizens of a big oil producing country to suffer such severe hardship.
Cap petrol at N1200 and strengthen our boarders with tight security to limit smuggling till the problem in middle east is over.

When subsidy was removed in 2012 under Jonathan which Tinubu and his goons organised against, fuel price went from N87 to N145 which was less than 100% (60% actually). And crude oil was selling at over $110 per barrel while we were importing the fuel.

So how come petrol price is over 600% (656% actually) at N1300 now from the price before subsidy removal (N189) at just around $100 per barrel when the crude and refined products are being sourced locally?

Can anyone explain this mathematics in a way that makes sense

I remember when I was growing up in the 80s, there were only 2 mosques in the entire city I lived. The old central mosque was just a small building that couldn't accommodate more than 100 people. Later they built the new central mosque which was just a little bigger than the old. Only few people worshipped there because Muslim population was very very low.

Fast forward to today, mosques are now scattered everywhere in my city; there are at least 2 mosques in each street. In fact, they are now competing with churches in their numbers. That's not my worry though (I'm not against the spread of Islam), my worry is that those mosques are mostly occupied and used by the northerners, not the indigenous people.

Which state are you talking about and believe me we Nigeria christians aren't helping cos from all reality Islam grows by population increase and not by convertion.
