I think the question you should ask is 'WHY ARE YOU HERE.? . every item I have in my house has a purpose. It will be wrong for me to pick up any unuseful item and place in my room. As time goes on, some items become useless and have to be thrown out while some gain importance.
In the eyes of God we all have a purpose. Whether we realize it or not we here to do something.
Some people will be called as vessels unto honor. These are the plates, bed, cup, the chairs. Some like Pharaoh or oppressors would be called as vessels unto dishonor. This are the toilet, wastbin etc. (Believe me when I say we cannot do without them)
Everyone has a purpose and will surely fulfill it before death whether he or she knows it or not. And once you are done u will return back to your maker.
Remember we don't choose to serve God, HE CALLS US. why He will call one for honor and another for dishonor is the same reason why a potter may choose to either make a pot or a waste bin with a piece of clay.
Answer that question and you have answered everything

Why would God put the tree in the garden, and.since he is all knowing, knows they would eat the fruit, allows devil/serpent to tempt Eve, get angry for an expected result, and punish the snake for the devil's evil Does makes no logical sense.

We are accidental product of the universe, shapened by evolutionary process.

the reward for life is knowledge.

the reward for knowledge is pain.

more knowledge more pains.

pain is constant as long as you have life.

comfort decides the move of every living being.

knowledge are imprinted codes in our minds by elderly, experience or personal thoughts. a child is like an empty disk, born innocent, born empty, but the parents teaches them, schools teaches them, society teaches them, these are the things we call knowledge, they are imprinted codes.

the more the knowledge, the more pains. why animals don't bother about things we do? cos they have limited knowledge, they only do basics(food and sex).

people worshipped the stars, moon, sun even wind because they had no knowledge about these things, they were miseries. until today we have flown through space, evaluated the sun, landed on the moon then we ask further but yet no answer

religious people have settled their pains by agreeing there's a god whom will give them everlasting enjoyment(comfort), but that's not the main driver of religion. the fear of burning till eternity is the real driver of religion. it's a pain already even to me, the fact that we "know(knowledge) about hell is already a pain never to be erased.

but i tell you pains Must always be here. it's an unquenchable flame that burns where life is.


in conclusion, the atheists and theist are doing same thing. running from pains.

my advice, you need not bother about the beginning or the end. hundreds of generation have come before us, hundred will come after us. this is our time. enjoy your show because you do not know the hour you will be called.

I said there is no initial purpose to life, we got here by accident, but we are here, so we give ourselves purpose...

You claimed that since you are alive then you have a purpose because others are dying, i responded with saying you are being egocentric(i.e thinking everything revolves around you), that what about the other people dying every 8 seconds as you claimed, do they have a purpose as well? Or are you the only one with purpose?...

Now, you start replying with off topic points...

If you think i wasnt insulting you by saying you were being selfish, then you misread me, i was describing your view on the matter...your last statement was obviously uncalled for...

You see my problem with that, its selfish, you are here because everything works together for you and it means you have a purpose...that is too egocentric.

You talked about the people dying from diseases and world wars...they dont have purpose?, they are just dots that should be cleaned from your storyline?, the other sperms that were slower were just there to make you feel special? Is that it?

Only when you step out of your own perspective and view the world from a strangers eyes would you fully grasp the meaning of our shared humanity...

Why are we here? This is my own opinion:



We are born, we live and we die. That's human existence for you. What happens in between, is all up to us. And it's what happens in between birth and death, that's really important. We all have a short amount of time to live on this earth, some a lot shorter than others. Instead of worrying ourselves over why we were created, or what happens after we die, let's make the best of what we have now.

I could ask what is the color of jealousy?...or ask why is the sun hot and not cold?

Our sense of purpose is just an illusion.

If a lightning strikes a tree and creates a fire, does that fire have a purpose?...asking why the fire exists is as invalid as it gets...

We are here by cosmic accidents, but I believe we can give our lives meaning and purpose...we can be the light in the eternal darkness...we can make our brief moment in eternity mean something...
