i watched the game again and i would renstate that we would thrash the libyans when they arrive asaba, it would be a blood bath, they where extremely very lucky they all two shot on goal am certain, the reason we went behind was unfortunate for the first goal all our defenders went upfront, but we controlled the midfield until we went 1 man down .. the libyans defended deep all they wanted was to counter us, their mild fielders were no where to be found.. we also had chances to equalize before they scored the second goal which was a lapse in concentration.. am 100 percent certain that the libyans would pack the bus in asaba... we just have to break their defence if it was not for that red card we would have equalized and even won the game.. asaba would be a blood bath for them i expect 5 unreplied goals.. we just have to start scoring early... just note i said this 5 if not more they were more than lucky...

The red card the goalie got was not supposed to be red he was inside his 18 yard line when he made the save... am 100 percent about that...

Useless baseless self-deceiving optimism.

Just what folks here want to hear.

When dey come to asaba we would beat them anyhow as long as the pitch is good we would beat them 4 or even 5 ... If d coach decides to release them victor oshimhen and onyekuru it would getbto 6 .. I watched the game the libyans dint play anything all they did was sit back and counter attack... Our goalie made it worse by getting sent off.. I felt if the goalie was not sent off we would have had a draw or even would have won the game..

I watched the game yesterday and we dint play that bad, our keeper also made a mistake but the libyans only had two shot on goal even after we went 1 man down... We can win the return leg definitely its just the margin that would be a big issue.. Remember this is the first time the team played together its was obviously going to be difficult.. I see people saying we played badly far from that we had more possesion we dominated the midfield we were not able to break their defence line because the defended deep... But at home am certain that we could whoop their asses by 4 four goals or more...

We have many more u23 players and other national fringe players whom we should give more chance to prove to us at this level. .. Remember we can take 3 over age players to the olympic as well..

Stephen Odey u23
Musa Yahaya not sure his age if he his eligible
Musa Muhammed not sure about his age
Al Hassan ibrahim should be eligible..

Defensively we need to sure things at the back i would recommend

Stephen Eze (Lokomotiv Plodiv) as one of the over age players that should be considered...

What about Chidebere Nwakali is he too old to play this competition... Perharps Victor Oshimhen and henry onyekuru could join later before the tournament if need be.

for me i want us to test a 4-4-4 or 3-5-2 this formation are good for counter attacking football, since we have young guys whom are quick, fast, and energetic i think it would be to our advantage ..... Against Argentina the back three of the argetines just could not cope with the speed at which Nigeria move from defense to offence. This formation is good for counter attacking football we have the youngest squad so it should be to our advantage....

4-4-2

............. Uzoho ...............

.. Shehu Ekong Balogun/Omeruo Idowu

.. V.Moses Ndidi Onazi/Ogu Iwobi/S Moses

........ ... ........... Ighalo Ihenacho

Ebuehi........ . ................. V.Moses

........ . ihenacho Ighalo/Iwobi

I honestly Do not want us to play a 4-3-3 in the world cup, the formation works when you have a wonderfull front 3 like liverpool, Madrid and they are usually not good defensively, although its also a good counter counter attacking formation but the, defensive disvadvantages imight be too costly.... Omeruo is way better than balogun in recent form, but because of the partnership ekong and balogun has formed ROHR might not want to disrupt it....

Mujtahida:

Yeah I noticed you've been offline and I was wondering why considering how hot and juicy the win over Argentina was.

Etebo stands the risk of losing his place - for example - to a fit and in form Joel Obi. I don't know whether it's a case of Rohr being unable to properly use him or Etebo himself underperforming. Ogu has acquitted himself and it's safe to say that if he's fit and in good form he's Russia bound. I'm happy for him cos he lost out last time to wuru wuru players like Uchebo and Ruben Gabriel.

I dont think he lost out then he wasnt ready he played for a club that he wasnt even playing regurlarly now hes playing regularly he has grown in confidence he is now an overall better player ...
