Adaeze Yobo, former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (2008) and wife of Nigerian international, Joseph Yobo, has revealed that her future hubby never knew who she was the first time they met.

Adaeze Yobo, in an exclusive interview with The Sun newspaper said contrary to insinuations that she married the Fernabache FC football star because he is famous and rich, the case was not the matter.

According to her:

”When we first met, I didn’t know who he is really. He didn’t know that I was the most beautiful girl in Nigeria. When I knew he was a footballer, I said to myself this relation­ship might not work or lead us anywhere, because of the lifestyle of some footballers who have so many girlfriends.”

Originally named Joan Alexandra but widely known by her stage name, Joan Rivers, the television personality, was rushed from a doctor’s office to a New York City hospital on Thursday morning after she went into cardiac arrest, according to the Associated Press.

“This morning, Joan Rivers was taken to The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, where she is being attended to. Her family wants to thank everybody for their outpouring of love and support,” Sid Dinsay, a spokesman for the hospital, said in a statement. Rivers’ daughter, Melissa, said Thursday that Rivers is “resting comfortably” after the episode.
