Hi everyone, i just got my student visa to study for my masters in sheffiled hallam university. I applied on the 14th of august and submitted on the 18th at ikeja. I did make mistakes on my application, emailed UKVI and asked if i could cancel the application and was told yes but was advised to make the corrections in front of the document officer if they would accept it which they did. I also informed the VO of my errors in the cover letter i sent along with my application. I received an email this morning that a decision had been made and went there without waiting for a collection email and got it!. Although i said i had no intention of working there but was given 20hrs per week. This forum helped me a lot during preparations for submission and i use this opportunity to implore us not to abuse this system and others too so other Nigerians can have a chance to pursue their dreams. You guys rock!
