Please who knows the reason why a passport is stuck at UP for weeks. I had same capturing date with my daughter but she captured two days before me because I have NIN issue. My passport is ready for collection but they said my daughter’s own is UP, since two weeks ago. They still said same thing today. It appears they want to frustrate us DYIers.

A file will be created which will be used in calling your name on capture date. Especially if it's fresh application(DIY), go before capture date, don't end up like a family I told who did not listen, they paid 40k naira on capture date, to do documentation despite starting as DIY. This is not correct except things have changed in Alausa center.I opened file 3 days before capturing in April this year, and collected passport in July. Opening a file days before capturing will save you from paying unexpected fees. Please update the house if things have changed.
