SalamRushdie: the election is just one month away and it too late to make an impact for a younger candidate given Nigerias demographics ... Now we need to get Buhari out and I trust Atiku will raise the new crop of Nigerian leaders like he did when he was VP. Are you saying the likes of Moghalu, Durotoye, Sowore and even Madam Oby are not viable options for us? Common, stop pushing this Atiku and Buhari pills down our throats, it's damn to bitter to swallow. Abi dem use old people swear for us 4 Naija? |

With what just happened tonight, it is obvious both men are arrogant and have nothing tangible to offer the citizens. How do you explain the two major political parties boycotting the debate? And to add insult to injury; Atiku was spewing trash apologising on Buhari's behalf for not debating. I think it's high time we the youth rose up to the occasion to chat a new cause for our future by voting the old order out. Let's vote for a nobody so that a son of a nobody can become somebody in the future.
I am writing this in severe pains already, so let nobody tells me I am in severe pain.......... Thanks |

As for me and my folks, we aint downloading any shit |

“At this point, President Buhari should not allow the excesses and over-zealousness of some security agents to give his government a bad name and that is why I think he should interfere and let the world know the truth about this case. It is obvious that this case is purely political and not about any judicial action. I also call on all human rights protection groups to wade into this matter and ensure we do not watch helplessly as the rights of a citizen is being trampled upon”, Saraki added. Which bad name again Saraki? After insulting the president on international TV |

Like seriously @ the bolded? This nation is doomed with all these mindsets Xisnin: Fake news from the stable of the nation who knows that many Nigerians will believe their lies and not ask questions.
Any civilized and informed person knows that Lobbying is an inherent part of a democracy with separation of power. Even in advanced democracy like the US, the president must make trade-offs with the legislature to get his projects approved.
But some caveman who don't understand how government works are angry because the strongest National assembly in Nigeria's history refuses to rubber-stamp the executive "requests".
The 17 billion naira is not a bribe as no lawmaker received a personal alert based on it. It was for projects that some lawmakers deemed important to their constituents.

Chairman, Google is your friend now! National Assembly workers are under National Assembly Service Commission and not Civil Service Commission. HarunaWest: The workers don't work for saraki, the work for Federal government as Civil servants..an their their strike affect the job of the Senators as well as Representatives.. They work for the civil service commission.. and they reason why their allowance hasn't been paid is due to the fact that the former board didn't work on it,and last week, the Senate sent Buharis nominated persons to the president so he can append his signature. My Inlaw works there. , Try comprehend before spilling, unless it makes you look like the Fool. |

Maybe dey felt d police willl be intimidated by mentning his name. Dis case can't be swept under d carpet, justice will be served & I wish dey can bring back firing squad, so dey will be washed with bullets & I will gladly accept d offer 2 do d shooting. He couldn't have told dem to rob a bank definitely? But to kill? The probability he told them to kill is high, bro this is Nigeria where politicians will go any length tovwin elections. They do all foerm if rituals and mass bloodshed is one of them. Personally I have seen a situation where some group of pple were pouring salt in a water dam that supply almost have a local govt and when they were challenged, they told us a politician sent them. After further investigation, we learnt dat the moment you drink from that water you must love such aspirant and u end up voting him to power. Trust no politician from 9ja, they r all desperadoes |

Jakumo: It may interest readers in Nigeria to learn that PayPal will instantly BLOCK any and all accounts that indicate transactions going into, or out of Nigeria.
Yes sir indeed, I can attest with absolute certainty that Nigeria has been BLACKLISTED by PayPal ever since that platform was created.
Anyone who doubts for an instant the facts I have stated here is free to test the truth of my report here by simply attempting to use PayPal whilst inside Nigeria. Regardless of how long your PayPal account has been open, the instant that account is used for ANY transaction traceable to Nigeria, that PayPal account WILL be closed right away, and the OWNER of the account will also be blacklisted, so that they can NEVER open another PayPal account ANYWHERE on this planet.
I would encourage anyone living in the USA or Europe, and who runs a PayPal account, to call my bluff and so much as TRY to use their account whilst in Nigeria. When your account is closed for LIFE, you can write back here and tell us all how truly sorry you are for making such a terrible mistake as to use PayPal in Nigeria.
Don't say you were not warned. Bros why all these epistle ontop all these lies wey u don blow for ground na? |

CCTV?
Eye witness, or did they apprehend anyone?
Perhaps I rushed reading the news but I could have sworn I didn't find how they reached the conclusion. Pilot-in-Command, Capt. Adesola Arasi had to contact control tower when he was alerted by the light that came on in the cockpit suggesting that the cargo hold was opened for about 15 seconds and immediately shut. |
