Hi there. I'm looking to get this inverter setup for a grandma. I know I will get a PWM charge controller but where I'm blocked for now is the battery type. Does this inverter + PWM work well with deep cycle gel battery? Segun2222: |
I NEED ANSWERS So I have a starlink mini that is mounted at my place in Ibadan, just today I got a notice that I will need to attend a training in Lagos from March 2nd till sometime in April (6 weeks). Now I want to know if my Starlink will work there or I shouldn't bother myself taking it with me ![]() Has anyone tried it before? |
Hope he is not trying to scam you. When the partnership was announced, only direct to cell connectivity was mentioned for 14 countries in Africa and till today there isn't any mention of Airtel offering starlink data plans or kit Last year article https://businessday.ng/news/article/airtel-starlink-partner-to-launch-direct-to-cell-service-across-14-african-markets/ Last week article https://africa.businessinsider.com/local/markets/airtel-africa-eyes-starlink-deal-to-power-next-gen-connectivity-across-14-african/5yn14en dustmalik: |
Which state and what address did you put? Jane111: |
It is not about water flow only in this case. - First, even if you use a regular cat6 cable and just plug it in directly, to remove it later will be a struggle and you might even damage the port while doing so, and regular cat6 cable are not outdoor rated meaning the sun heat can damage them. - The waterproof extender cable is not to stop water flow from entering, it is to prevent moist and also water that the wind will blow in its direction during rainfall. I asked starlink YouTuber AYTechExcellent how my cable would look if I want to plug it in directly without issue, and he responded with the picture below, it means I would have to cut off some part of the cable head so it is easier to remove later on. So I got the extender as recommended even by him (and other YouTube videos I watched) if you don't want to go through that trouble and risk. Starlink itself is waterproof, but to use the ethernet port with a regular cat 6 cable instead of the expensive starlink ethernet cable which has waterproof protection, it is better to use a waterproof ethernet cable extender (this is only for the starlink mini). https:///ikeja/accessories-and-supplies-for-electronics/starlink-standard-mini-waterproof-outdoor-cable-extender-g53qjz3HEJPCXjxdMCLDL5zM.html gsparks01:
