Those girls are usually sought out for when it comes to Marriage especially by abroad based men.
You need luck to get the one that won't go over there and begin to raise shoulder high because she's getting well paid.
SmartPolician:
See fine, fine girls. Because they are medical students, one guy overseas will be promising them marriage on social media cheesy

On a serious note, Nigeria needs more health institutions. The number of heath workers leaving this country is alarming. Nigeria needs to train more people because we have the population.

For those that are here, they shouldn't be paid less than 500k per month. That should be a benchmark.

My Visit to Godfrey Okoye University and the Need to Invest More in Education

Today, I visited the College of Medical and Nursing Sciences at Godfrey Okoye University. I was delighted to see the remarkable transformation the institution has recorded since my last visit — the power of dedication, vision, and purposeful leadership.

To support the ongoing infrastructural development, I made a contribution of ₦15 million. This is part of my continued commitment to strengthening our educational and healthcare systems, which remain the most critical foundations for a productive and progressive nation.

I told the students that they are not just learners; they are global citizens who will shape the future of our healthcare sector and represent Nigeria proudly across the world. We must give them the tools, environment, and moral grounding needed to excel.

All this vote buying won't save you from defeat. The members of your cult movement are resigning and dumping you because you have never for once shown any financial support for their activities, people who are trying to expand support for you, you refused to show them support. The last election in Anambra, you didn't give them anything to mobilize. They have appealed to you several times but all fell on deaf ears but you're going about bringing nurses with 10 million naira each. This time your defeat will be ten times wider.

Strengthening Nigeria Through Education: A Day at Tansian University

Yesterday, Thursday, 13th November, I visited Tansian University, where I was warmly received by the management, staff, and students.
I appreciate Prof. Bonaventure Anaeto, who represented the Vice-Chancellor, for his kind words and for acknowledging my previous commitments to the institution, my previous donations especially the one of March this year 2025, and yesterday’s donation of 10 million Naira.

I was pleased to learn that the School of Nursing, which we helped the university establish, is now an official examination centre of the Nursing Council. I also noted their further requests to enhance the students’ academic and spiritual formation. I assured him that I will continue to assist.

I reminded the students that nations are built on critical thinking, civic responsibility, and deliberate investment in human capital, especially when such investment lifts people out of poverty.
Referring to U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent remark calling Nigeria “disgraced,” I urged them not to join those who diminish our country but to remain committed to its progress by questioning what the government is doing—and failing to do.

I emphasised that leadership is about investing in people, I shared a testimony from a friend in London whose medical care came from nurses trained in schools we supported in Anambra. That is the impact I want to hear—not stories of citizens being paid to vote during electioneering, thus mortgaging their future.

I concluded by reminding them that Nigeria is not “disgraced” because others say so; we disgrace ourselves when we fail to invest in the next generation.

Today, Wednesday 12th November, in my continued support for the critical areas of development in our dear nation, including education, healthcare, and alleviating poverty, I visited the College of Nursing Science, Oluyoro, Ibadan. I met with the students, faculty, and staff, and spoke to them about the critical role they play in shaping a healthier Nigeria.

In my commitment to supporting education and healthcare, I donated ₦10 million to enhance their facilities and provide better learning resources.

I remain committed to supporting initiatives that empower Nigerians to reach their full potential. Our nation can only rise when every Nigerian has access to quality education, dependable healthcare, and opportunities to lift themselves out of poverty. We must invest in our youth, support our schools, and strengthen our healthcare institutions, so that we can build a future where every Nigerian can succeed and contribute to a stronger and more prosperous nation.

CrimeAnother UK-Based Nigerian Gets Five-Year Sentence For Rape by Afonjacoward(op): 8:23am On Aug 12, 2025
A Nigerian man living in the United Kingdom, Segun Ogundipe, has been sentenced to five years in prison for raping and sexually assaulting a woman in Gloucester.

Ogundipe, a 33-year-old resident of Tuffley Lane, Gloucester, was found guilty of rape, two counts of sexual assault and assault by penetration despite denying all charges.

The sentencing at Gloucester Crown Court came only days after another Nigerian, Elvis Nosakhare, received a six-year sentence for sexually abusing his girlfriend’s underage daughter.

Gloucestershire Police reported that Ogundipe met the woman at her workplace in 2022 and invited her out for drinks. As the night progressed, his sexual remarks made her increasingly uncomfortable. He later drove her to his home under the pretext of picking something up, where she was raped and sexually assaulted after using the bathroom.

The report stated that on the way to Cheltenham afterwards, Ogundipe continued to touch the woman despite her repeated requests for him to stop. Police officers on routine patrol stopped his car, giving her a chance to leave.

Although hesitant at first to reveal what had happened, an officer noticed her distress, prompting her to disclose the rape. Ogundipe was arrested, charged, and later claimed in court that the victim had initiated sexual contact and consented — a claim the jury rejected.

Judge Lowe acknowledged the positive character references submitted on Ogundipe’s behalf but stressed that the severity of the crimes justified a five-year custodial sentence. Ogundipe will also face deportation after serving his term.

In her statement read to the court, the survivor said: “It is still crazy to me to think how your words and your actions have made me question my worth entirely. Some days, what you did to me plays over and over in my head. What you did was vile and one of the worst things you could do to someone.

“I spent so long believing that I must have deserved what you did to me, but I know now that you had no right to the rights of my body. Every single part of my life paused. I had to leave my job, a job that I loved deeply, because I couldn’t cope.

“I became scared to meet new people, to even smile at someone out of fear that it would be taken the wrong way. I lost my spark, and even now I’m still only starting to heal.”

After the sentencing, she encouraged other victims to speak up: “It doesn’t matter if you feel ashamed or if you feel you are somehow to blame. You will be believed and supported.”

Investigating officer Detective Constable Jon Furse commended the survivor’s bravery, stating: “Ogundipe’s actions that night have caused serious harm and will have a lasting impact on the victim.

We are dedicated to ensuring sexual offenders are held accountable for their horrific crimes, and I would encourage anyone who has been a victim of rape or other sexual assaults to please come forward and speak to police.”

PoliticsVIDEO: Lagos Residents Cry Out As Flood Ravages Communities by Afonjacoward(op): 1:25am On Aug 05, 2025
Heavy flooding has wreaked havoc in the Ijede area of Ikorodu, Lagos State, displacing residents and submerging homes, vehicles, and properties. Several viral videos circulating on social media over the weekend have drawn public attention to the worsening situation, prompting urgent calls for government intervention.

In one of the videos, a distressed woman could be heard speaking in Yoruba, pleading for help.

“We are in Oko Ope in Ijede. Have mercy on us. This is our community. We can't even enter the house; the flood has damaged everything. I'm not even wearing footwear. Come and save us. Today is 4th of August, 2025. Come and rescue people,” she said.

Another video showed the extent of flooding in the area, with homes and vehicles submerged in water. A male resident, lamenting the situation, said:

“This is what I’m facing in my area in Ijede. From August 3rd to 4th, Monday morning, inside and outside my house is full of water. Big ocean. See cars inside water.”

The Lagos State Government has acknowledged the situation and assured residents that a long-term solution is underway. In a statement, authorities emphasized their commitment to addressing perennial flooding in vulnerable areas across the state.

Residents, however, continue to call for immediate relief and expedited infrastructure upgrades to prevent further disasters.

Which North will support Tinubu?
Oga wake up and smell the coffee your man is going back to Iragbaji come 2027.
WizardOfNG:
All this grovelling and sycophantic talk from Obi is for his paymasters on the North.

If you feel you deserve to be President then you don't beg as Asiwaju showed when he called out Buhari openly in Abeokuta showing the wounded pride of a leader who knows he has done his part to then be faced with what may be treachery from those not devoted to keeping to their pledge.

Till today, people misunderstand the 'emilokan' talk of PBAT. It was not an assertion of entitlement but a demand to the APC North that I have done for you and it is my turn in spirit of one good turn deserves another.

Obi, in contrast, has always been a dobale type of grovelling leader and always will be. The irony is that, upon his shameless begging, those who still matter in the North will support Tinubu to win because they know he did his part to help the North gain 8 years in Aso Rock and will 💯% leave Aso Rock in 2031.

They know better than to gamble on the pledge of a man who swore "the day I leave APGA is the day I die".
