abu12: since Emeka won 2015 election under PDP, he should stay in his party and test his popularity by 2019. why did he want to joined APC.
he should test his popularity in the next election under PDP, or is it because good luck Jonathan is not contesting this time around Okoyeeboz: I have been warning those flatheaded piglets that they'll soon be forced to dance to the drum they're beating, this one is just rehearsal.
During the last LG elections, there were elections into 376 councillorship, 20 LGs and 37 LCDAs. Igbos didn't win a single seat.
In 2019, we're collecting all our seats from the ones in the House of Reps and Assembly. I don't know how MC Oluomo slept off in Oshodi that one wawa Jew came to win elections there.
If PDP tries to put ANY potopoto candidate in Lagos, they won't be able to campaign not to talk of come out to vote. They should go and ask people of what happened to Onwa and that useless ACP Dan Okoro that was supporting Igbos to assault a Yoruba LG Chairman in Amuwo Odofin LG secretariat.
In 2019, we're collecting ALL our seats back and there's nothing descendants of Judas Iscariot can do about it. [quote aut ODVanguard: Yinmu. Continue deluding yourself. Out of all the lawmakers from Lagos, (a total of 64) only 3 are igbos (thanks to PDP federal might influence) -- obviously those three have seen the handwriting on the wall that they will lose their seats in the next elections, hence their scramble to switch to the APC. The recent LG election in the state was a clean-sweep for the APC -- no single one of you loudmouths (even in the areas you supposedly 'dominate') won a single seat. There's no more PDP/federal might to rig you guys in as happened the last time. Sorry to burst your bubble but henceforth you people will have to move to Biafra to win elections from now on o coz Lagos will no longer tolerate una holding elective offices -- even for areas wey una plenty, you lots will have no choice than to vote for a Yoruba candidate or not vote at all. Either that or na to go beg Jagaban for crumbs. hor=abu12 post=63334268] Afonjas are gathering to take their daily consolation pills so it was Goodluck that rigged for Igbo's in Lagos but same Goodluck could not rig for himself. Igbo's are not interested in LG trash where you lots kill yourselfs, we only go for gubernatorial and House, so you can save the LG and LCDA Afonjas need it more that's where you slum dwellers share your skull proceeds. Mind you Igbo's hold seats in Ojo, Oshodi/Isolo, so 3 seats is now a joke in a state like Lagos for non Afonja Igbo's that you love to hate, better sit up or Apc, Ambode will loose the Governor seat to Emeka |

lekanolas: The decision of the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu to pick some of his political sons for elective offices in the 2019 generation election has prevented some People Democratic Party (PDP) federal lawmakers from joining the APC.
Some House of Representatives members from Lagos State elected under the PDP had planned to join the APC and seek for re-election under the party's platform in 2019.
But when they discovered that Tinubu had already penciled down some people for these offices in 2019, the lawmakers retraced their steps.
PDP currently has six House of Reps members from Lagos in the National Assembly.
For example, the two Reps members representing Oshodi/Isolo Federal Constituency 1 and 2, Mutiu Shadimu and Tony Nwosu, had concluded plans to join the two state House of Assembly lawmakers from the constituency in APC.
The two state lawmakers, Akeem Sokunle and Idimogun Jude Emeka were members of the PDP before decamping to the APC.
The duo and four other PDP state lawmakers defected to the APC in February 2017.
Bounce News gathered from multiple APC sources that Tinubu had already anointed Muyiwa Olabitan for Constituency 1 and Kehinde Bamigbetan, his political son, for Constituency 2.
Olabitan is the son of Tinubu’s close ally in Oshodi, Baba Olabitan. Muyiwa contested for the same position in 2015 but lost to Shadimu.
While Bamigbetan, the current Special Adviser on Communities & Communications to Gov Akinwunmi Ambode, was Tinubu’s Chief Press Secretary when he was governor of the state.
Before his appointment as a Special Adviser, he was the Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area for two terms. He was prevailed upon in 2015 to drop his ambition for Akeem Munir, who lost to Nwosu. Munir was seeking reelection to the House but was defeated by Nwosu.
Tinubu was said to have told party leaders in Oshodi that Olabitan has served the party meritoriously for years and must be compensated for his avowed loyalty to the party since its days when it was Alliance for Democracy (AD).
Although, other aspirants for the positions are putting up a fight, it is certain that Olabitan and Bamigbetan would eventually emerge as the APC’s candidates for the House of Reps election.
As at the last count, 6 people have signified their intention to vie for the Constituency 1 seat while 5 are in the race for Constituency 2.
An aide to Shadimu told our correspondent that his boss would rather remain in the PDP where the second term ticket is sure than join APC, where somebody has already been anointed as the preferred choice
Bounce News further gathered that Tinubu is under intense pressure to anoint the son of the party’s Chairman in the state, Henry Ajomale for the State House of Assembly in Constituency 2.
Yinka Ajomale contested for the position in 2015 but lost to Emeka.
Tinubu, it was learnt, is being careful not to hurt the feelings of Igbo speaking people in Ajao Estate, Isolo and Ejigbo as the three areas are heavily populated by the Igbos.
Recall that the APC lost in 2015 in areas heavily populated by the Igbos in Lagos State. http://news.bounce.ng/Content/bounceexclusive-tinubu-stops-pdp-reps-from-joining-apc-20171214 Tomorrow afonjas will say Igbo's are inconsequential in Lagos when their Jagaban thinks otherwise. Only SW slum dwellers from SW states outside Lagos argue the place of Igbo's in Lagos and Nigeria at Large. That why i always refer slum dwellers and skull mining afonjas to the Jagaban when the question of Igbo power or authourity in Lagos arise. Other areas Igbo's dominate in Lagos outside Oshodi/Isolo LGA is Amuwo Odofin, Festac, Okota, Ojo, Satellite, Lekki, just to name few, i will stop here so as not to derail this beautiful and fact revealing thread, with statements of facts from the Jagaban himself. internationalman: As usual u can't stand alone, always standing with your enemy to fight another enemy.
Don't bring d Yoruba into this coz they have not for once claimed to have a share in Edo land.
As for the Ijaws they reckon it's our land, they only want to inhabit it like d way the Igbos did Lagos.
One thing I notice is that we the Edo, Ijaw and the yorubas are somehow related that we don't ever fight one another.
But you the ipob are just like enemy to everybody... Heya still crying? Stand alone you say? I am only telling you the stakeholders to the Land you claim, benin's are mere tenants in that edo state, the real benin land is that part that was fenced with benin dead bodies, i think the size should be around one Acre or Something the size of 3 football pitch which currently happens to be the obas palace, so make no mistake i am not famzing like you odudua descendant. Why will yoruba or any of the other stakeholders claim to have land in edo state when they know it is not under any dispute, when benin tries that rubbish with afonja or any of the other stakeholders then you will see that the Ijaw recolonization of benin land will be a joke compared to the wrath of Igbos or afonjas. Unlike benin's, If benin people really owned gelegele the will not be carrying ply cards and crying allover the cyber space for help from their Ijaw Lords like they are doing today. Go to Gelegele and tell the Ijaw man that he reckons that it is bini land and see if Skull mining afonjas will not be pricing the remnants of your decapitated body parts from the Ijaw land owners. You all live in peace because you have accepted Ijaws as your lords and masters in the Niger delta and riverine afonja land, i thought benin's use to claim warriors, why have they suddenly lost their voice, today the Oba of benin is a modern day slave to fulani herdsmen just to use federal might to steal gelegele land from Ijaws, however Ijaws are Battle ready can the same be said of benin's coward? By Ipob i guess you mean Igbo's? if yes, then that is because Igbo's fear No man and go to war with death to find life, however if you really meant Ipob you can refer that question to Ipoblogic, he is very sound and will provide a very wise answer that could save the annihilation of benin land. Ijawslave. |

ofai: My God, how teachable is this guy?
Siting an industry brings economic and social development in that area. Or is the economics too big for you to understand. My brother, Please don't let any afonja use you in derailing this beautiful fact revealing thread, the point of this thread is to seek "which region is the least developed region" in the federation, now that it has been established that SW is the least developed region in Nigeria the next question should be why is the SW the Least developed region in Nigeria, despite collecting the bulk share of the oil money and not seeing the war. Please note that this thread have really battered the ego's pride, lies and propaganda of the afonja as sophisticated or developed and has gone even further to show that they did not contribute in the development of Lagos, so to cover the bitter truth they have been making attempt at derailing this fact revealing thread please do not help them achieve that aim if at all you must engage them, end every post of yours with "why is SW the least developed region" and you will get a resounding silence on that. If they want stats on Health, wealth, Poverty, Education and Industry index they should create another thread for that and they will meet another resounding victory from Ndigbo, mind you all the index chat that afonjas posted have Lagos in it as part of SW remove Lagos and watch the percentage drop by 98 percent, leaving them behind NE. so please do not assist them afonja in derailing this thread. Let them create another thread for Baseless argument and they will be once again shamed like they have been on this thread. |
