TV/Movies / Re: Why We Need Entertainment? by AfricaMars: 7:04pm On Feb 27, 2011
As someone who works in the Entertainment distribution business, I can tell you what, We started in such a biz because we see an opportunity, an opportunity to take people's time or money in other to engage them and kill boredom.

If you come to think of it, take away work and this World will just be a big boring ball. Though some people work boring jobs.

The point here is, boredom is everywhere, at work, at home, everywhere. Entertainment kills boredom and thats why its a huge market we so much need.

Celebrities / Re: 2face To Appear On Mo’nique Show by AfricaMars: 1:25am On Feb 09, 2011
For 2face to appear on the Mo'nique show is simply remarkable. It's an interesting show and I think he is funny enough to kill it with the audience.
Even though the show is not as big as Oprah Winfrey's show, its still a huge achievement for a Nigerian artist to appear on.

Computers / Re: Which Is Your Favourite Browser? by AfricaMars: 11:15pm On Feb 06, 2011
@zoraro whewwwww 287 tabs shocked

I prefer chrome because like anyother Google product, its simple and slick, It does have issues at times with Flash or Silverlight. Hopefully as HTML5 takes off well, Chrome will undoubtedly be ahead of all the other browsers.

TV/Movies / Re: Nollywood Movies To Watch Out For In 2011 by AfricaMars: 1:20am On Feb 01, 2011
With all the media technology now available in 2011, we hope to see quality movies. Enough of the predictable story lines and very fake blasts and gunshots already.

Please don't get me wrong, there are some truly good Nollywood movies.
