This niger delta you talk about, do you know that the Igbo are the largest tribe in terms of population in niger delta followed by ijaw? 9 local governments in delta is Igbo, 65% of rivers state is Igbo.There are Igbo in bayelsa and others niger delta States, benue and kogi state. Some of the people you Nri Igbo today spoke other languages many years ago. Their languages changed largely due to Igbo benefitting from colonialism.
