Africanism Academy is an online training platform helping Africans build careers in the global remote work economy, has opened a large scholarship cohort giving young Africans free access to its training tracks, all rebuilt around AI as a core skill, not an add on.

The remote job market has shifted fast.

Employers hiring virtual assistants, customer service reps, and remote support staff increasingly expect candidates to already know how to work alongside AI tools: drafting and editing with AI assistance, automating repetitive admin work, using AI for research and customer response, and knowing which tasks to hand off to a tool versus do manually. Africanism Academy built its scholarship curriculum around that shift.

What Scholarship Recipients Learn


Every track in the scholarship cohort now includes hands on practice with AI tools relevant to the job: using AI to speed up client communication and customer support responses, automating routine admin and scheduling work, researching and drafting with AI assistance, and learning to use AI responsibly and efficiently rather than relying on it blindly. The goal is graduates who can walk into a remote role already working the way modern remote teams actually operate.

The deadline to apply for the New York Climate Exchange Climate Tech Fellowship 2026 is Saturday, August 1, 2026.The Climate Tech Fellowship is a six-month hybrid program (virtual with an in-person start in New York City) that helps early-stage innovators move climate solutions from prototypes to commercial products.
