In 2004, Viktor Vekselberg, an oil and gas tycoon, paid $100m for nine imperial eggs which are currently on display at the faberge museum. He bought them off the estate of Michael Forbes, the magazine publisher who had collected them over his lifetime. cc @lalasticlala |
In 2014, an American man Rob Bates a scrap-metal dealer found a Fabergé egg at a flea market. He initially didn’t realise the value of what he had discovered till he read about it online and later sold the egg for around $33 million dollars |
Hi guys, I recently visited the Faberge Museum in Saint Petersburg and I took some pictures and made a video of the historical Faberge eggs that are collectively worth ₦36 BILLION NAIRA Faberge eggs are jewelled eggs created by the House of Fabergé, in St. Petersburg, Imperial Russia. The first Fabergé egg was crafted for Tsar Alexander III, who gifted it to his wife, the Empress Maria Feodorovna. The due to the finite number of the eggs, they are coveted and rare to collect. The UK Royal family and The Prince of Monaco are among the lucky owners of faberge eggs. Below is a video of 9 of the original imperial eggs and how much they cost, as well as pictures. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PaWAul0XCVE First picture is the Renaissance egg and it's worth ₦7 BILLION NAIRA Second picture is the Cockerel egg which is worth ₦1.5 BILLION NAIRA Third picture is the Duchess of Marlborough egg And the fourth is the coronation egg which is worth ₦7 BILLION NAIRA

Apart from the over 3 million collections on display; The Hermitage museum has a funny history of employing cats to keep off rodents. The Hermitage currently employs 74 cats all of whom reside inside the Hermitage. The museum has a press secretary dedicated to the cats, and three people act as caretakers ![]() cc lalasticlala |

Today I went to the streets of Saint Petersburg Russia and asked Russian girls if they like dating black guys. There are so many stereotypes and western propaganda about Russians mostly from people who haven't set in Russia. One of the stereotypes is on how Russians absolutely hate black people so today I decided to hear from Russian girls themselves about what they think about black guys. Here is what Russia girls have to say about black guys https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18rimPEF1kY Please watch the video, like and share if you enjoy watching such content and would like to see more. |

Today I cooked Nigerian jollof and went to the streets of Saint Petersburg, Russia to find out what Russians think of this popular Nigerian cuisine. Many Russians don't know anything about Nigeria or Africa in general so I decided to use this opportunity to introduce them to our most popular cuisine. Majority of them loved it but their only complain was how spicy it is. The small pepper I used was apparently to hot for them hahhahaa ![]() And this video is what some Russians think about Nigerian jollof rice please watch, like and subscribe to Afro Rossiya TV for more interesting cultural exchange between Russia, Nigeria and Africa as a whole. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQMJeS8PCCs Please suggest in this thread if you have any ideas of social experiments you'd like me to try in Russia.
