No body is giving you 3 star in Imiigration. In the force, u cannot come with civilian experience and head officers who have been on ground before. I will advise you to keep your present job if u currently earn up to 100k. The job is not worth the hustle. for the SSCE holders, well you can take the offer if you currently have nothing doing.

Have u guys thought of the strees running up n down just to get selected? You will be surprised that less than 20 AS1 II will be taken. ASI II (Asst Sup of Immigration 2) is teh entry level and i doubt if they take more than 120k. Also remember there is pure federal character in this thing.

DO we remember what led to the sack of the last CGI (comptroller Generla of Imigration)?

Yes, You can get the job and resume as a Dsi (3 stars) and S.I (one coat of arm) but only if the enter as a professional personnel e.g a doctor or lawyer called to bar. Mind you not every employment gives special privileges to professional persons. If the employment opportunity gives d opportunity then u can get that position @ first employment

Your previous working experience have little or no effect on ur employment in immigration, perhaps it might have effect on ur pension savings registration as u can transfer ur old pension account of ur previous job to here web u get d job. Your start up pay and take home for Bsc or Hnd is 120k (as @ today when d minimum wage has nt yet been effected).
