There is no specific time, but mostly up North, children get circumcised shortly before they're admitted into Nursery school. It's a kind of ceremonious something that friends and families will be killing ram, goat, sheep chicken and buying things for the circumcised child till he heals. Additionally, children get circumcised in group not isolation. The family will search through the extended family and find children that are of circumcision age and circumcise them together in group.
