TV/MoviesPhone Swap By Kunle Afolayan: Hilarious Movie Made With A $500,000 Budget! by Agstar(op): 8:26pm On Mar 03, 2012
The “Press Screening” of Kunle Afolayan’s latest movie, Phone Swap, held on March 1st, 2012 at the Ozone Cinema, Yaba . Various Media houses watched snippets of the movie and expressed their displeasure via grumblings over the abrupt halt of the entertaining movie, during a cliff hanger scene. Well, they’ll be there on the premiere day to watch the full length of the movie, slated for 17th March 2012 at the Expo Centre Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island , Lagos. Premieres will also take place in Abuja on 24th March at Silver bird Entertainment Centre, and 5th April at Silver bird Entertainment Centre, Accra Mall. The ground breaking event at the Expo centre will play host to 2,000 people… book your tickets in advance.

Producing the movie didn’t come without its challenges, especially in the areas of finance and cast. Sam loco Efe who had been penciled down to act as Mary’s father, died, the lead male cast was kicked out by the director, and Investors were slow in responding to his 29 paged business plan. Chika Okpala (Zebrudaya of the New Masquerade 80’s fame) came on the scene to replace the deceased actor, while Wale Ojo ( Meet the Adebanjos UK TV drama) became the new lead actor.

Based on financing from product placement, an endorsement deal with a cell phone company, with Badagry acting as the location for the village scene, shooting commenced, read more on http://www.9aijabooksandmovies.

They're literary icons operating on the same high level frequency, it's only the Nobel prize that "seems" to put them on different levels.

BusinessProofreading And Editing Services In Nigeria ! by Agstar(op): 2:19pm On Jan 31, 2011
The important role of this duo has been undermined by a lot of people, especially those within the business fold. Imagine having brochures, business documents such as manuals, reports, press releases, marketing materials, contract papers and the likes, with a few grammatical errors, ambiguous words, repetitions, improper punctuation, which automatically alters the intended message to the receiver. Careless mistakes have caused some to loose potential business deals , as prospects are put off by such, based on one premise: 'it reflects their inability to pay attention to details'. Hence, their credibility is called into question.

Proofreading/ editing is a painstaking, boring, time consuming process, with your eyes playing tricks on you as you read the documents. You can make mistakes while typing and not even fish them out as you re- read same. Remember that some mistakes are not detected by spellcheckers based on wrong punctuations and grammar used. Editing eliminates vague, unnecessary words and we refer to it as the 'add and delete' process.

You need a fresh pair of eyes, capable of effortlessly detecting the grammatical pitfalls and other hidden problems within the documents. We can save you from such professional embarrassment via our top notch proofreading and editing services, guaranteed to invoke clients satisfaction. Companies/ entrepreneurs can outsource their works to us as we strongly uphold the 'strictly confidential' rule.

Hi Peace world,
i'm not sure i understand what part i got wrong, whether it's the Nigerian English stuff ( use of vernacular is ok, but using the way you converse in every day life without paying attention to the grammatical rules, hmmm!. Publishing a book is not a problem at all, esp in this epoch where self publishing has taken a quantum leap in the publishing world, it's the sales and recognition (local/ Intl)given to the book that counts at the end of the day. i'll visit your designated site,

BusinessRe: Website Needed by Agstar(f): 6:33pm On Jan 07, 2011
web sites are charged based on whether you want a static or dynamic site, the latter being more expensive. Then again it depends on the achievement base of the web designer, if he has big time clients on his list, that's mega bucks for you to spit out, then again if you've got the money to spit out, then it's okay. level seven is good from what i reckon, but remember it's not the design , the feel of a site that brings in heavy traffic as most are accustomed to think, but it's really the 'content of the site' that does the 'hard work' without due recognition. Wise Insight offers 'good web content development'- http://www.wiinsight.com. 08069803298

For Rosebud1:
i went through the extract of your work "Conditional inheritance"- chapter 8. Although chapter 1 would have been a better place to start from-- but you had your reasons for not towing that introductory path. It centers around Okezie in Dubai, the environment , the bar scene, the battery on the lady, taking to his heels. you deployed a combination of the narrative approach, also the descriptive aspect( not so much), but you used snippets of what i refer to as 'Nigerian English' in conveying your message (which should be corrected). I don't know what genre of fictional work you've adopted, cos sometimes thought flow matters a lot in keeping your readers riveted on the final story flow in the novel. I run wise insight, and amongst other things we proofread, edit people's works. Please visit http://www.wiinsight.com or call : 08069803298, 07036693703 for more info.

it's good to know that it's not just about entertainment people have a passion for. it's not everyone who can express themselves in a coherent manner on paper esp with regards to fictional works. Although it's grammatically flawed and could do with deeper application of the descriptive approach, i still commend you for the effort. 'could help out with polishing your work, after all that's part of the services i offer. http://www.wiinsight.com. +234-07036693703
