It’s with a heavy heart that I write this. On the night of October 1st, around 11 p.m., a dear friend and colleague was kidnapped and brutally murdered in front of his own children. He was shot and stabbed, and as if that horror wasn’t enough, his three innocent kids were taken away by the assailants. We still don’t know their whereabouts. No matter the offence or misunderstanding anyone might have had with their father, children are innocent and should never be made victims of such wickedness. No child deserves to witness their father’s murder or to be dragged into a world of trauma and fear. We are pleading with everyone — the Nigerian Police, security agencies, and concerned citizens — to please help us in the search for the missing children. Please, if anyone has any useful information or sightings, report immediately to the nearest police station. Let’s also remember the wife he left behind, currently nursing a baby, in our prayers. She needs strength and comfort beyond human understanding. 🕯️ May his soul rest in peace. 🙏 May his children be found and returned safely. 💔 And may justice not sleep on this case. |
In today’s world, having a degree alone is no longer enough to guarantee career success. Employers and businesses now value skills that drive visibility, sales, and growth online. One of the most in-demand skills right now is Digital Marketing – from social media management, SEO, content creation, affiliate marketing, to paid ads. Whether you’re a student, job seeker, or even running your own hustle, learning how to position yourself and your brand online can open massive opportunities. ✅ Companies are paying more for people who can help them get customers. ✅ Entrepreneurs are using digital marketing to scale small hustles into big brands. ✅ Even freelancers are cashing out globally with just their skills and a laptop. The truth is: your career and income potential grow faster when you know how to market in the digital space. So I’m curious 👇 Do you think digital marketing should be a compulsory skill for anyone trying to build a career in this economy? Or is it just for “tech bros & sis”? 👉 For those interested, I recently started sharing free tips and resources on how to build a career in digital marketing (including affiliate marketing opportunities that are beginner-friendly). If you’d like to learn more, just drop a comment or send me a DM. |
JibolaUsman:You’re absolutely right 👍. Health really is wealth, and the truth is the same principle applies in business — when you give value and focus on quality, customers naturally become your marketers through word of mouth. That’s also why affiliate marketing is booming today. It’s literally built on that same idea of adding value first and then letting satisfied people spread the word (and you earn in the process). At the end of the day, whether it’s health, business, or finance, consistency in delivering value always pays off. |
A lot of people spend their younger years chasing money while ignoring their health — only to later spend all that money trying to recover their health. The truth is, good health is not just about avoiding sickness, it’s about building a lifestyle that supports your body, mind, and even your financial growth. 💊 Simple health tips to live by: Stay hydrated (water clears toxins better than most expensive supplements). Sleep well (your body repairs itself more during rest than any drug can do). Eat balanced meals (your diet today is your medicine tomorrow). Move your body daily (exercise isn’t just about muscles, it boosts immunity). Manage stress (mental health = physical health). Now here’s the connection a lot of people don’t realize: 👉 Just like your health requires consistency, your finances also require consistent smart decisions. One of the easiest and most flexible ways people are building an extra income stream today is through affiliate marketing — promoting valuable products (including health & wellness products) and earning commissions. In fact, many health-conscious people today are not only improving their lifestyle but also earning by recommending tested wellness solutions online. Imagine getting rewarded just for sharing products that actually improve lives. ✅ So, take your health seriously. ✅ And while you’re at it, learn how to leverage affiliate marketing as a side hustle that complements your wellness journey. Because at the end of the day, health + wealth = true freedom. |
Some years back, I was working non-stop. Hardly slept 5 hours daily, ate junk most of the time, and my “exercise” was only walking from bus stop to bus stop. I thought I was hustling, but truth be told, I was slowly killing myself. One day I collapsed at work from stress. Doctor said, “If you don’t slow down, your money will soon start buying drugs instead of food.” That statement hit me hard. I began to take health seriously: ✅ Drinking more water ✅ Eating better ✅ Sleeping properly ✅ Taking walks & light exercise ✅ Managing stress Funny enough, this change also opened my eyes financially. Instead of chasing only the hard hustle, I started looking into smarter hustles. That’s how I came across affiliate marketing — where you earn by recommending helpful products (even health products) online. Now, I balance things: I keep my health in check. I also earn extra from affiliate marketing without burning myself out. Moral of the story? 👉 Your health is your first capital. Don’t trade it for quick money 👉 And when you’re ready to grow your income, learn a skill like affiliate marketing that allows you to work smart, not just hard. If you’d like to learn how to get started with affiliate marketing (step by step), you can reach me on WhatsApp 👉 08131958388. At the end of the day, both health and wealth are needed for a happy life. 🌱💰 |
splendournoni:"I understand your concern, but affiliate marketing doesn’t require buying materials or stocking products. Unlike traditional business models, you only promote products or services through your unique link, and you earn a commission whenever someone makes a purchase. This way, you’re not tied down with inventory or losses, and you can focus purely on marketing and building income streams." |
haggai247:Bros calm down 😅. Not everybody teaching online is a scammer — some actually dey run legit business and still share value. The fact say one “YouTube guru” dey misbehave no mean every other trainer na fraudster. And about ChatGPT lesson, lol… if person no sabi even use AI in 2025, him already dey behind. The real difference no be whether na ChatGPT or not, na if the person show you how to turn am into money. As for refund matter, if your guy get receipt, make he follow proper channel — no be vexing for Nairaland go return him money. |
obinna58:Lol… my brother, nothing in this life is “genuinely free.” Even YouTube you watch burns your data. The truth is, people value what they pay for — if it’s free, most won’t take it seriously. If you’re waiting till everything becomes free before you learn how to make money, you’ll wait forever. The same ₦15k you’re shouting about is what others are using to learn skills that now make them 6 figures monthly. Knowledge is an investment, not a handout. If you see it as disturbance, just waka pass — because those who are hungry for change don’t complain about the spoon, they focus on the food. |
Bahamas95:Not entirely true bro. I understand where you’re coming from because a lot of Nigerians have that “if I teach you, you’ll pass me” mentality. But let’s be real—things are changing. Knowledge is no longer locked up like before. The internet, online trainings, YouTube, mentorship programs and even platforms like this same Nairaland have made it easy to learn almost anything if you’re serious. Yes, some people hoard knowledge, but many others are openly sharing because they know collaboration pays more than selfishness. If your friend spent 8 years learning welding, it’s either his boss was wicked or he wasn’t intentional about finding better options. Today, nobody really has that excuse again. At the end of the day, Nigerians are not naturally wicked—some people are just selfish, same way you’ll find selfish people in any country. |
Meteng:Like seriously. |
A lot of people still think affiliate marketing is scam or dead. The truth is, affiliate marketing is simply helping businesses sell their products and earning a commission. Nothing more. Nothing less. It’s not a Ponzi scheme. It’s not “get rich quick”. It’s the same business model that big companies like Amazon, Jumia, and Konga have been using for years. That’s why you see “refer & earn” or “share & earn” programs everywhere — it’s affiliate marketing in disguise. Why do some people fail? 👉 They expect money without learning the skills. 👉 They give up too quickly. 👉 They don’t understand that it’s a real business. Those who take time to learn and apply the right strategies are making steady income from it (in naira and even in dollars). So, affiliate marketing is not the problem. The problem is when people come in with the wrong mindset. What do you think guys? |
Affiliate marketing is not just “side hustle”, it’s a real digital career. 👉 You don’t need capital, stock or office. 👉 You can earn in dollars promoting global products. 👉 You’ll learn hot skills like sales, copywriting & digital ads. 👉 Income potential is huge if you’re consistent. In 2025, companies are paying affiliates more than traditional ads. If you’re looking for a legit online career path, affiliate marketing is worth it. |
Oga, I’ve noticed you always jump on threads to attack people’s hustle. That energy no dey shake me sha. My ebook is ₦ 15000 and the training is Free— straight to the point as you want it. At the end of the day, serious-minded people will check the value, not noise. Everybody knows talk is free, but value no dey hide. |
PepeXKermit:Boss, the truth is not every useful update can be dropped openly on a public thread. Some opportunities need proper explanation, breakdown and even guidance for someone to really benefit. Sharing privately doesn’t mean the intention is sinister — it simply allows clarity and prevents half-baked information from flying around. At the end of the day, anyone who gets the info will be able to judge its value for themselves. My focus is on providing genuine value, not misleading anyone. If you (or anyone else) genuinely want to understand better, just reach out — I’ll be glad to break it down clearly. |
2cribz:*"True, AI is changing a lot of industries — even banking, marketing, and almost every field you can think of. But that doesn’t mean affiliate marketing is dead. What has changed is how it’s done. Before, people used to just copy-paste links and spam. Now, smart affiliates are using AI tools to create better content, run ads more effectively, and reach global audiences faster. So instead of killing affiliate marketing, AI is actually making it easier for those who know how to use it. The truth is, online business models don’t really ‘die’ — they just evolve."* |
splendournoni:"Affiliate marketing is still very much alive in 2025. The major difference now is that people who take time to actually learn the marketing side (not just rushing for quick money) are the ones getting results. Payments are still in dollars, and many platforms pay directly without stress. I’ll send you more info via inbox since I can’t drop too much detail here." |
I keep seeing young Nigerians earning in dollars online without traveling abroad, and honestly, it surprised me at first. Some are doing it with just a smartphone and internet connection. It’s not crypto, not betting, and not ponzi. It’s something way more sustainable that people worldwide are using to build income streams. I’ve been digging deep into it and the results I’m seeing are interesting. If you’re curious, I can share more info privately. What do you guys think — are Nigerians really ready to tap into opportunities like this, or we’ll keep waiting for government jobs? |
Bahamas95:😂 Bros calm down. It’s not everybody that’s bitter about life updates like you. Nigerians dey share legit ways to make money daily — na whether your eye dey open receive am be the issue. Affiliate marketing no be yahoo, no be maga hunt. Na pure business model wey Amazon, Jumia and co dey use run their billions. If you think say everybody wey dey talk money online dey fraud, maybe na you never still understand say hustle pass “cheap data code.” No vex, but ignorance no be pride. 🙏🏽 |
erad:Lol, affiliate marketing didn’t die o, it only outgrew the people who were looking for “magas.” It’s still a multi-billion dollar industry worldwide — Amazon, Jumia, Booking.com all run it. If it was about duping, big companies wouldn’t be investing in it. So maybe it’s not that affiliate marketing died… maybe it’s just that some people never really understood it in the first place. 😉 |
Many people still believe you need to travel abroad or “know someone at the top” before you can earn in foreign currency. Truth is, there are legit ways Nigerians are getting paid in dollars right from their phones and laptops. One of the fastest-growing opportunities is called affiliate marketing. 👉🏽 It doesn’t require capital to start. 👉🏽 You don’t need to own a product. 👉🏽 You don’t need to stress about delivery or customer service. All you do is connect people to products/services online and get a commission in return. It’s like being a middleman, but digitally. The interesting part? Some are making more in a month than what regular 9–5 jobs pay in a year. The key is knowing the right platform, learning the strategies, and staying consistent. I’ve seen people who started with just a smartphone and internet connection build steady streams of income this way. If you’ve been curious about online business models that actually work in Nigeria, affiliate marketing is one of the easiest places to begin. What’s your take — do you think more Nigerians should be learning this in 2025? 🤔 |
