What I would like to say is that if you want to limit your career and chances in life to your locality and nation, study in Nigeria.
If you like exploring and would like to broaden your chances and career, go for the international masters abroad.

P.S: I’m not talking about those that went for their international masters for the sole aim to japa and wouldn’t mind living their entire life on the menial jobs they got even after permanent residency

The Department of Social Development (DSD) hopes to finalise the policy for a new Basic Income Support (BIS) grant by March 2027, getting it ready for implementation.

The BIS is the new social grant the government plans to use to replace the COVID-19 Social Relief of Distress grant, which has been extended far beyond its original intent.

The SRD grant was a R350 per month support grant, later lifted to R370, launched in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic to help qualifying South Africans weather the economic uncertainty at the time.

The department noted that the grant was only ever expected to be in effect for six months, but over 8 million recipients became dependent on the support.

The DSD characterised the billions spent on the grant as a “success” because it directly addressed poverty, noting that recipients mainly used the money to buy food, electricity, and clothing.

This, it said, then supported local economies.

“Research by multiple independent researchers also found the SRD grant to be well targeted and successful in reducing hunger, poverty and inequality while also enabling the participation of beneficiaries in job search and other economic activity,” it said.

Because of this, the national government, supported by the presidency, is moving to transform the SRD grant into a new Basic Income Support policy, which is currently being processed.

President Cyril Ramaphosa has long supported the new grant and, in his 2026 State of the Nation Address, promised that the rework of the new grant would happen this year.

I have a friend who spent almost 4 years in the UK, built a good life there, and just relocated to Canada last year. I'm confused because from outside, UK looked settled for him. you are working as a civil servant and you also run a business which is good no one is after you because you do both

The reason I suggested using both accounts is because you have funds in both, and you are trying to prove to IRCC that you have sufficient money to support yourself.

A business account that receives income from your business can also help establish home ties, provided the business is genuinely yours, properly registered, and actively generating income.

Your personal salary account also demonstrates your employment income.

I don't see any disadvantage in using both accounts

In my opinion, using both accounts strengthens your application rather than weakens it.

Both. Also, get proof that you are the sole signatory ( that's if you are) to the business account. Your bank will give you this it is normally included as part of the POF documents you get from your bank

Please show both sources of income, ie salary and mutual funds.

Ensure your attach both statements, you can also get a reference letter for the Mutual Funds.

The federal government needs to invite these people for proper questioning & investigation as regard the current insecurities happening in South west

These people and their partners beat the drum of shariah for some years now to the extent that Mufti of Iwo asked modrasat owners to start teaching their students on how to use weapon

If the federal government failed to take necessary actions against these people, it will not be funny when the masses turn against them because they are not bigger than the entire south west

These 3 people mentioned have done many harms to the peace of south west through their utterances, actions, & sworn allegiance to jihadist which they even made open

Honestly.......Egg buyers locate egg farms and we have not been able to meet up with supplies. As we grow we are also building our Customer base. 1000 birds should bring about 26 crates daily. We currently get average of 5 crates daily now and by his grace we will build our Customer base as we grow. For the records, i have my eyes on developing Egg powder

Like i said, if i am making such amount on 200 birds.......i am imagining what i can make when my birds are up to 1000birds. And once i achieve that, its goodbye to paid job and the next will be to produce my own feed myself

We dey chop some eggs for house and sometimes due to weather and some other unforeseen issues production no dey meet up but we quickly adjust.


But what about marketing, once you attain 1000 birds marketing issues comes in
