If you play your cards right with that, you'd start making some decent income within 6 to 12 months. It's not free from challenges, and just like any other online business model, it requires that you learn the ropes before taking a plunge.

How do I know that there's money in Amazon Affiliate? Well, I've been with the program since 2015, and so far the journey has been fantastic. I made $2,000+ last November and about $3,300 in December. Although sales have dropped drastically this January, I've already crossed the $1,000 mark. If that's what I get every month for doing nothing, then I think it's cool.

But I won't fool you, it took me close to a year to start earning decently. And along the line, I invested lots of time and even cash (not so much, though).

To succeed as an Amazon Affiliate marketer, you need just 2 things: the right niche keyword and well-written, detailed content. I'm not referring to 500-word articles here. I mean posts that are 2000 words long -- or even longer. If you can't write those yourself, you need to pay someone to write them for you. That's where most of your monetary investment will go into, aside the cost of hosting and domain name registration.
