RickyM: Talking about seller…Techland is cheaper even with delivery fees and stuff. Comparing panels, the Canadian panel is cheaper per wattage I think they are legit based on what I've read here from those that have. Doesn't hurt to do your due diligence. The Canadian panels are a good choice in that case. |

RickyM: Good morning great people of Nairaland🫡🫡🫡 Is Techland a reliable company(in terms of original product) to deal with? Considering buying from them as delivery is swift compared to Fouani. Jinko panels or Canadian panels…Which one should I rather go for? Good morning. Roughly same tier. Depends on value for money. I'd compare the wattage and price of both then pick whichever is the more affordable one. |

hayzhed: Dear Professionals, please I am new here even though I was able to go through the last 20 pages of this thread. You guys are awesome. I have learnt new things from the little read. Please, I need response to the following questions for a possible system set up. 1. Using Felicity products as case study, can a 3.5kva 24v transformer inverter be used on a 5kwh 48v 100ah lithium battery? 2. If the answer to (1) above is YES, Assuming a total load power of 700w with an average of 7 hours of daily use, is the set up in (1) sufficient? 3. If the answer is NO, what closest alternative do you think is possible? 4. Using Jinko panels, how many panels am I likely going to get to achieve (2) above? Also, the power rating of the charge controller to use.
Please note that my area mostly enjoys grid electricity at night, from 10:30pm to like 4:00am on the average, except during exceptional cases. Thank you as I await responses from my "ogas" at the top. Welcome fellow enthusiast. 1. Get a 48V inverter (3.5kva, 5kva, 6kva) for a 48V battery, especially ones with inbuilt Mppt charge controller. 2. Yes a 5kwh Lithium battery is more than sufficient to run that load especially considering your last note. 3. You're already good to go. 4. Get 2-4 600W (if possible, even higher wattage) Jinko panels. You can get from Fouani if they have in stock, I have 625W ones for sale and it's what I use to run my loads. Note: I'm completely off-grid (been over a year now) and find even 8 of those specific panels an overkill. My energy needs is about 10 times yours and everything runs on a 15Kwh Lithium battery. The panels are that efficient and as a bonus you save roof space. |
