And pls is using an immigration solicitor important when applying for spousal visa?

Pls I need help I submitted my spousal application January dis year and I was refused becos we didnt have enof photos and they said my husband finacial statement wasnt clear,he had to revisit in august and we took lots of photos,so I will be applying again bfor the end of october,he already has all d documents with him in uk,i want to know should I ask him to send them back or what documents will I be submiting here in nigeria? Will I need those documents with him here?
