I've been seeing your comments on this matter for some time now, so I know that you'll be in doubt of what I said. Just like I mentioned, you can ask around to clear your doubt.

If I were you, I would just upload one of the 3 months of the f1 visas so that i can take it as a reality. In all honesty, i have not seen a 3 months f1 visa since July 10, 2025, and if you can not convince me beyond my doubt, that means you are also generalising.

To your other comment on F1 visa being indefinite, I'm not sure I understand what you mean as that's not the case in principle.

Okay, let me make you understand that. When you are given a 1 year student (Bsc) visa this january 2025, and you entered america as a student same year, which means your visa expiration is jan 2026. Did you know that your visa validity is beyond January 2026 (i-94 certificate says duration of status) ? If you do not have any cause to travel out of the U.S.A, then you can use the same f1 visa (issued in Jan 2025 for your Bsc) to finish your phd. perhaps in the next 6 years. You dont need visa when you are inside USA.

For a student, once you're in the US, you're legally entitled to stay in the US for the period of your studies. However, if you have a course to travel out of the US, you might need to apply for another visa in the light of this single entry 3-months validity period visa.


Let you and I sit down and reason how your thinking above is going to work for all international students in america ? If any student is sick and needs to go home, or attend urgent family meetings and come back to school immediately, such a student will have to go and apply for a re-entry visa?

After the Xmas or Sallah holiday, you mean Nigerians, Chinese , Indians , French, Saudi Arabians , Istrealis, etc. will troop to the U.S. embassies in their various countries for another visa in order to go back to school ?

Even if the 3-month visa issuance is going to stay on f1 visas, there must be exclusive flexibility for all international students. Otherwise, the U.S. embassy staffs can not handle the loads. 👍

oga it’s 3 months now…take it or leave it, the guy you have quoted has explained it you as clear as possible…i know it seems crazy but unfortunately that’s the reality now

I attended my f1 visa interview in Abuja on July 3rd 2025, I was placed on administrative processing for social media vetting. I received my passport yesterday without no visa stamp or any foil5ij my passport, and my status still remain on the traditional "Refused" for administrativd processing. There was an inscription in the passport where they ticked that there's no action required from me and make your account set to public was
underlined. However, my social media accounts all in public, tested these through people who aren't my friends on social media. What should I do?

you received your passport with a paper saying you should make all your social media public ? if that’s the case then your passport was just returned to you and your visa decision is still being decided on, you will be contacted by email if any additional requirements are needed or when your passport is ready to be submitted for stamping



if i understood not correctly, then you may have been denied but normally the status would have updated , so i doubt
