With the advancement in technology, the human labour cannot still be outweighed. Artificial intelligence remains the best form of labour that has ever existed on planet earth. Just on Tuesday 30th April, two hundred and fifty (250) members-of-staff of The Standard Chartered Bank were relieved of their work and also sixty (60) in the telecoms industry – Visafone. More and more of this is still expected in this year; 2013 according to experts.

In the last few months of this year, we have seen what has happened in the Nigerian banking sector –about retrenchments which so many organizations today term differently. Some call it downsizing, some say reforming while some others call it retrenchment but whatever it is called, it is simply regarded as relief of duty which in a lame man’s term is called sac. In view of this, LIVERITE CONSULTANCY SERVICES in collaboration with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is organizing a 1-day business seminar/retreat for both fresh and experienced graduates in Lagos, Nigeria.

Participants will be trained on becoming successful entrepreneurs who can stand on their own and later become great employers of labour.

Become employers of labour
