My Zenith bank dividend came in but not complete.

I wonder who else experienced this

I did experience same. Sent the Registrars a mail and they said something around my account being split into two. I eventually got the second tranche into my other bank account.

Good pm guys. Is there a possibility for the Registrar to understate one’s holdings. I held over 10,000units of Zenith Bank shares before QD. However, while filling the AGM link sent by VERITAS Registrars today, I saw 8,343 units as holdings. Do I need to send a mail to address this?

@Akanmbi, note that before you subscribe to cscs online to view your holdings in real time, you will need to first open a cscs account with a stockbroking firm, with that, you will have a cscs account and a CHN with which to login to the the cscs online portal. The online portal is charged per CHN, You can have more than one cscs number and you will still be able to see all your holdings from the different cscs if they all have the same CHN.
If you are yet to open a cscs account, click the third link in my signature to open a stock/cscs account with investment one stockbrokers.

Many thanks for the prompt response. I own a stockbroking account (Anchoria) with a CSCS account. The point I was trying to make was that I have made the statutory N5,300 sub fee to cscs but cannot seem to access my account. Is there a timeline ? Or perhaps is there any activation required from my stockbroker? Thanks

Please I need guidance on how the cscs online portal works. Recently made payment which was successfull. However, when I try to log in, I get the notification (contact your stockbroker; account not activated)

I don't know how much you got that you think it's way less. Your 7k expectation is based on maybe false calculation. 5k units of Zenith is supposed to give N6,250. If now minus withholding tax (WHT) of 10% from that amount, what will be left is N5,625.

If N5,625 is what you got then it's the right amount but if it lesser then you should contact them to balance you.

I suspect you must be a high net worth investor. Those of us with smaller units had gotten ours, just relax it will soon come. Just hope your phone can withstand the alert that you are expecting.

Please help explain. I got way less than what i was expecting from Zenith. I own 5k units which should have translated to c.7k. Is dividend payment in batches? Thanks

You're correct with your assessment of Atlas but their mobile app is scary to use with its constant request to access your location. Even a sophisticated Binance mobile app doesn't request you to turn on Location or else they'll block you from using it. Atlas makes it seem add add they're monitoring you or your phone when you install their app. I uninstalled it immediately I downloaded and tried to use it.


Two areas the stock brokers need to improve is automated funding and withdrawal. They can copy how Cardinal Stone is doing theirs.

The second is optimisation of their website for mobile users. Even cardinal stone fails in this regard, with the constant need to zoom in and zoom out.

This is 2025. All this stock brokers should know that most people use their phones to access the internet than a computer. If your platform UX is not mobile friendly, it will put off a lot of users and potential retail investors
