Her enemies are still in "their" Lagos smoking the smell and stench day in day out. Politicians saw how people came forward to defend their failures, and that ultimately gave them more reasons to ignore the truth (smell) 😂.

This particular law from the RSHoA will never stand at all whatsoever. The FGN law supersedes all laws and whatever is contrary is null, void, and empty.

Rivers State has been in the news so much that I know almost all the names of their current political office holders more than my state.

I’m sorry for the refusal. Why did you submit your employer’s bank statement? It was unnecessary if it’s not your own company nor a business trip. Did you receive your salary into the personal account you submitted? Using another company to apply right now doesn’t look good at all.

1. Was it vacation or business trip, since your company dropped their statement?
2. Have you traveled to any European country before or it was virgin passport?

Submitted application at TLS Lagos today. Received email that it's been sent to Consular authority, fingers crossed.
Hoping that France will once again prove themselves for speedy processing than the Italians.

Italy takes about 30 days (including weekends)

France about 15 to 20 days (including weekends)

There's no golden rule for visa applications, however it is important that an applicant demonstrate that they have sufficient funds to cover the trip, which is €120 per day for France or an average of €3000 closing balance. Closing balance play a critical role in the adjudication of a visa application especially for first time travellers.

A visa officer will naturally see that it makes no sense that you present an account balance of ₦5m for example, and want to spend all or ₦4m on a trip of 5 days. That visa is likely to be denied on the grounds that "the information submitted was not reliable" - except the applicant demonstrates that they can easily lay their hands on additional funds in case of emergencies.

The scrutiny for frequent travellers are usually more relaxed.

It has everything to do with what money you’d come back to after your trip. People have gotten visas with a lesser account balance, but what was the exchange rate then? 3m is less than $2k. If you were to apply for a UK visa with that, they’d refuse you saying you do not have enough funds and might have nothing to return to after your trip. If the applicant has a great travel history, it helps. But spending say 3m out of 5m balance for a vacation doesn’t look good. Unless they can show they have solid funds in investments. It doesn’t mean the poster can’t get the visa tho. I got my Canada visa with less than a 250k balance, but I showed I could pull the money needed for my trip from my money instruments.
