OK, I will check, but I noticed my temperature reading only takes few minutes to get to middle on starting the engine (Ac on or off)

Good morning sir, please I noticed my Honda civic 2001 model always drags (refuse to accelerate) when the Ac is turned on for a long period of time. After turning off the Ac its picks up a bit but not as it would be if the Ac were not turned on.
Please help.

Morning, I have a honda civic 2001 model. I noticed that anytime I on the Ac for a long period the car would not accelerate. Any ideas of what might be wrong?
