Yes bro...the student affairs stopped d mobilization due to d nysc quota system but biochemistry graduates were told to come for their mobilization as soon as senate approve there result next week. payne_leex: I'm gud bro, thnks n U? Well, I'm done wit ma clearance and I've collectd my statement of result. The only fin left to collect is my certificate which shld be in ma file by 5th of april. The first n most important process of d clearance is to ensure that ur department's result has bin cleared wit u inclusive. Having done dis, proceed to d academic affairs office for ur clearance form wit two recent passport of urs! I'll advice u make all necessary payments bfr doin dis simply cos all payments r made thru POS which is usually crowded wit students making one payments or the other particularly d freshers! For dis reason, I suggest u r there early to beat d long n tiring queue! This payment includes departmental(varies), Faculty(varies), Alumni(1000), Academic gown(2500), Notification of results(2000), Guidance n counseling(500) wemabank, DSA(500) OOU micro-finace bank, jamb regularisation fee(5000) nt applicable to all provided u have ur jamb admission letter! I paid dis tho very reluctantly n sorely! Having made all payments, u cn then proceed to each unit for ur clearance starting frm ur department thru faculty, etc. The final and d last unit is d DSA whr u'll b given a final clearance which will eventually b presented at d authentication unit for ur SOR. In addition, u'll b required to produce a scratch card which u must have scratched n used to print out ur O'level result online together wit dis print out alongside ur original O'level certificate! My broda d process long bt u cn finish it in a week if u're determined! Gudluck bro!!!

U already av a jamb admission letter which is a proof dat u're recognised by Jamb as a duely admitted student/graduate of a Nigeria university even tho it doesn't reflect ur true discipline. The goodnews is that jamb would be able to reconcile ur data as a duely admitted candidate once ur info is sent to them by NYSC for authentication. Only those who do nt av an admission letter will av their info declined by jamb on d ground tht they av nt been duely admitted. So, it's important they pay tht regularisation fees so that their names wld be sent to jamb fr proper ratifications/regularisation...#theBestOfMyKnwoledge! #ReppingOOU.

Commenting on the Jamb admission letter/regularisation process, the info in my skul is that if u don't have jamb admission letter either printed frm d internet or given to u frm skul, it means u're nt recognised by Jamb either as a graduate or undergraduate student which is an error arising frm skul's inability to forward the names of duely admitted students to jamb fr proper ratifications. Hence, u're obliged to pay a sum of 5K for regularisation exercise irrespective of ur mode of entry. Meanwhile, we shld note that these procedures may vary according to skuls. Bt this is a situation reports of how the issue is currently being addressed in my skul. In other news, Lekan is my name, philosophy graduate of OOU, class'12.....already mobilised for june 2013 batch 'B' since February 4..#TeamNYSCBatchB noni!!!! Can't wait!!!

The 2013 Batch 'A' Pre-Mobilisation Workshorp with the theme "Generating Credible Data for a perfect Mobilisation Process" was held on Thursday 17th
January 2013 at the Kwara State
Government Banquet Hall, Ilorin, Kwara State.

At the end of the proceedings, the
workshop resolved as follows;
.
1. That the workshop noted that there is a difference between carrying capacity
and admission quota and as such, in the
circumstance of mobilisation of
graduates for national service, it is the admission quota that should be used.
.
2. That part-time students who graduated
before the introduction of the policy of
exclution in the 2001 but have not yet
collected either Certificates of National Service or Certificates of Exemption should henceforth be presented for Exclution Letters as applicable to the present part-time graduates.
.
3. That the implementation of the new
policy on the use of approved admission
quota for processing submission from
CPIs for mobilisation into National
Service will commence with the 2013
Batch'A' Service Year without a waiver for any institution. in this regard, any
institution that is not ready for the new policy now can present its graduates for mobilisation at the 2013 Batch 'B'
service year.
