Hello, its nice to see that no one here is condemong anyone.

Like i said before in my post, i stated the bible that i used. Again, which is the New American Bible St. Joeseph Edition in case you have missed it before. Yes, you are very right, people should always do research on their on than to just rely solely on what someone else has said. There would be less problems in this world. But i enjoy what you are doing and the contradictions are inevtiable. I was not defending the bible because it was made by man and many many copies in different languages and at different times were created. I just gave a new perspective. However, it does depenend on the age of the bible and the version, to come up with different information. No one is perfect but i love to learn new things. So if ever you have anything else to contribute to please share them.
Thanks again
Kind regards

Actually I did some reseacrch on my own to back up the statements that you have. Actually. You have 2 mistakes so far.

1. You said ;

4. God sent his prophet to threaten David with how many years of famine?
Seven (2 Samuel 24:13)
Three (I Chronicles 21:12)

Actually I am reading the New American Bible a St. Joeseph Edition;

and in 2 Samuel 24:13, it actually states that

Gad then went to David(NOT GOD) to imform him. He asked: "Do you want want a three years' famine to come upon your land, or to flee form your enemy three months while he persues you, or to have a three days' pestilence in you land?

and in I Chronicles 21:12 it states that

, Will it be three years of famine; or three months of fleeing your enimeies, with the sword of your foes ever at your back; or three days of the Lord's own sword, a pestilence in the land, with the Lord's destroying angel in every part of Isreal?

No contradiction there. The numbers remained the same.

2. You stated;

How old was Ahaziah when he began to rule over Jerusalem?

Twenty-two (2 Kings 8:26)
Forty-two (2 Chronicles 22:2)

What i came up with here was that he was in fact the same age in both kings and chronicals

2 Kings 8:26

Actually this is the
Accesion of Ahaziah
verse 25-26
Azhaziah, son of Jehoram, King of Judah, became king in the twelfth year of Joram, Son of Ahab, King of isreal. He was twenty two(22) years old when he began his reighn, and he reigned one year in Jerusaleum.

2 Chronicles 22:2

Ahaziah, son of Jehormam, regined as King of Judah. He was twenty two(22) years old when he became King, and he reigned one year in Jeruselaum.

Again, it states he was 22.

I have to always od my own research an never take other peoples findings as hard facts. Because i don't read the bible very often and I want to make sure I know what I am reading before agreeing with anything.
